It's a Rusical this week for the remaining 8 queens...

This was a really good episode. I don't think there are any bad performers in the rusical but I agree with the bottom 2 sadly. This episode clearly shows that the runway lewks aren't 50% of the mark, otherwise I would've swapped Le Fil with J Blonde for the top because J Blonde's lewk was not it imo.

 

Danny Beard clearly a standout character in the rusical and the runway lewk omg

Very sad to see Baby go :( However, I commend her for taking care of herself. It is more important than the competition. The lip sync is the closest for me, up until the last final moments where Baby just pipped it.

! I was expecting a double shantay for that lipsync so I'm shook with that result!

I kinda hate rusicals so I was dreading the episode but I actually enjoyed it, and it really was splitting hairs for who would be in the bottom - nobody did a bad job. It would've been double shantay worthy IMO but Baby is the one I'm less sad to see go. Good on her for putting herself first and making the right decision. Dakota won the lipsync anyway I think but they weren't miles apart there either.

I'm disappointed as Baby was my fave, but the only spoiler I had read for the season also had Dakota leaving here, so now I hope she goes all the way!

I really enjoyed this last episode and didn’t think anyone deserved to go, but understand why Baby left. Hopefully we see more from her in the future!

I thought that was one of the very best episodes of any Ru Paul I have ever seen, everyone was SO strong I felt like the critiques were so minuscule they were actively searching for them. Loved it didn’t want anyone to leave!

Oh and Le Fils look on that runway was just WOW stunningly beautiful I adored it so much took my breath away.

An episode that's as strong as this feels perfect for a double shantay, I kinda think Ru would have just got rid of Baby anyway lmao so I get Baby went on her own terms, and I appreciate and respect that, why not go on a high like that? She was done kinda dirty last week but this week I think the bottom was fair as they were splitting hairs, especially for Le Fil to be in the bottom 3! Dakota I think just pipped the lipsync for me if I had to choose as I love her style of lipsyncing, but a double shantay would have been fitting, I'm just glad she didn't go here as she's such a sweetheart.

 

Cheddar was robbed BLIND of being in the top over Pixie, obviously this was Danny's episode (that was one of the best looks the show has ever seen) but her performance was a clear second, she is killing this whole thing for me. I do like Danny but I get more heart and uniqueness from Cheddar personally, Danny is very good at what she does but you often feel like you know what you're getting, I do enjoy what I'm getting though! Danny could be in with a huge shot of a 4th badge next week with Snatch Game but I guess a lot of the time funny queens seem like they'll do well at Snatch Game and then struggle to be someone else!

Honestly Pixie is being hard overrated for me, unless her hilarity is being edited out. Is she funny? Sure but she's not hilarious

Cheddar 2nd? From last for me in this episode. Super underwhelming performance alongside Dakota and Pepper. Baby slayed her character completely and Jonbers was a clear winner. Danny strong as well. Pixie was kind of in the middle for me.

 

Nice twist, I didn’t expect that. Although I did think the way that both of them were slaying the lip sync so hard, something was bound to happen. Like a double chantay but idk if they have the budget for an extra episode.

This was such a strong episode. Not a single person did bad. In fact everyone did good or better. And the runway was really good. So many amazing runways. Danny obviously, but I loved Le Fil's too - it was stunning. Jonbers was the only one who missed the mark a little bit on the runway for me.

 

I think this epsiode was one of the closest I've seen and is a prime example of splitting hairs. I feel that Le Fil should've been safe and not in the bottom 3 - with Black Peppa in the bottom instead. Although Black Peppa did do well, I thought Le Fil did a better job especially considering how accurate she was with all her words and hitting them so effortlessly despite it being live. I was surprised Cheddar wasn't top over Pixie. Again splitting hairs, but I thought she did really good especially with her accent.

 

The lip sync was so fun. I was not expecting Dakota to do so well. I loved how expressive her face was and then her going off the stage and coming back was hilarious. :lol: She beat Baby in the lip sync and would've stayed if Baby didn't quit I think. Poor Baby :( I hope she got any help she needed and managed to pull herself out of her hole.

 

Danny is the clear winner thus far. I feel like Black Peppa might be end up doing the typical "does well/wins early then slowly fizzles out as the season goes on".

Maybe make it to the final but with no chance of winning. Although I could be wrong.

Interested to see if any of the other queens can get some more wins and go toe to toe with Danny.

I'm thinking Cheddar and Pixie could if they start building some momentum in the next few weeks placing high/winning a challenge or two with Danny being safe or high.

Pixie's edit seems to hint at that with last week her not being confident, to this week placing high again and saying she is feeling confident in herself. Usually means she may be on the up and finally get a solo challenge win soon.

Although Dakota might be the dark horse. She has 2 wins, although both shared. Perhaps she could make a come back and nab her first solo win.

baby was one of my fav’s so really sad to see her go, but it was clearly the best. happy dakota got to stay tooo.

 

generally found the judging this week to be MAD. baby was absolutely in the top for me, and would have had pixie and cheddar in the bottom as they both faded into the background.
