Great result and (just!) beats last years peak position too.

Thing is doesn't the album streaming omit Santa Baby as it is the most Streamed.... so will be nowhere in the charts

 

Yes, I’m guessing the Spotify albums chart is all the streams added together without any downweighting unlike the OCC Album chart. Though it’s a sign the UK streams of the entire album are decent as whilst Santa Baby is clearly the biggest contributor it needs plenty of backup to make 34th on the albums.

Good result in the end considering how its performed the last few weeks, im happy with the peaks this year for both the UK and Ireland.

Hopefully this isn't the last time we see kylie in the top 75 singles until santa baby pops up again. Hopefully the lead single from the new album can comfortably make the top 75.

The sales for last week's chart were insane.

ACR aside, Santa Baby, gained almost 30,000.

Interesting that, despite generally performing worse than 2021, the 2022 peak was one place higher. I guess it helps that it had an extra day of big streams:

Its success is brilliant and regardless of where it’s placed on playlists it still manages massive streams.

 

Not bad considering it’s a cover competing not just against Eartha but also a huge number of other versions by ‘bigger’ artists.

 

I heard Emma Bunton singing it recently and whilst she can sound great she just wasn’t able to pull it off in the way Kylie does.
