'Greatest Hits 2.0'? For a band who have never had a greatest hits collecton? Ew!!

Why not something like "Greatest Hits: Revisited" or something? :selena:

I'm seeing them in Manchester in September. :cheer:

I wonder if every song will have a guest on them? It’ll be interesting to see who else will appear on it! I believe the only other name confirmed is McFly.

Oh I love that they're doing Busted-only ones too! Excited for this!

EDIT: Oh and Charlotte Sands on their best song *.*

'Year 3000' with Jonas Brothers is out now.

Their album is now up for pre-order... and it's all SO CHEAP! I immediately got the bundle. Their vinyl are only £15 each! Cassette is £5! CDs are also only £5...

More artists should do this through their websites, imo! Those who access their websites are the fans and it doesn't feel as exploitive! Decent shipping too!

EDIT: The "guests" version doesn't have a vinyl as all of the guests weren't ready when they had to print the vinyl. So they thought they'd make it up to us by giving two variants of the original instead. Also, signed copies... they said they are planning to do some free signings (bring your own CD/vinyl/tapes etc..) around the time of the tour.

I just KNOW Sophie Turner is freaking out that her husband has an official collab with Busted!

EDIT EDIT: Just noticed James bloody Arthur is on this... GROSS! :puke:

It’s just their collection as all the duets hadn’t been finalised in time before they went to print.

If only all vinyl was £14.99!

It would be great if Busted got a very overdue #1 album!

What albums prevented BUSTED & A Present For Everyone from going to number 1? Omg.

EDIT:

BUSTED lost to Elvis Presley - 30 #1's

A Present For Everyone lost to Michael Jackson - Number 1's

Lost to the TWO biggest male artists of all time... greatest hits collections..

'Half Way There' also lost out to a legacy act... The Specials :selena:

Not strictly true what their first album lost to, because it didn't actually peak at #2 until February 2003, after "Year 3000" came out, and then again after "Sleeping With The Light On" came out in late August 2003. On both occasions, they were stopped by Justin Timberlake ("Justified") and Eva Cassidy ("American Tune").

Just been listening to these songs this morning, I only previously listened to Mmmbop 2.0 but I did enjoy the rest of the remakes.

I know the album is revealed now, but I started imagining older non-Busted tracks that they could do well on with original artists maybe;

  • Stacey’s Mom 2.0 (with Fountains of Wayne)

She Looks So Perfect 2.0 (with 5 Seconds Of Summer)

In Too Deep 2.0 (with Sum 41)

All Star 2.0 (with Smash Mouth)

What’s My Age Again? 2.0 (with Blink 182)

Shut Up And Dance 2.0 (with WALK THE MOON)

Boss Of Me 2.0 (with They Might Be Giants)

And maybe they could have included Air Guitar 2.0 too.
Hopefully they get their first number 1 album this time, for some reason i had assumed they previously had a number 1 album.
  • 2 weeks later...
I’ve pre-ordered the complete edition with all versions. Not bad for £5 on CD or £16 on vinyl. I’m surprised that on Thunderbirds Are Go 2.0, it’s credited as Busted featuring McFly instead of McBusted
