Arguably the most even group of them all? Portugal have so many superstars but lack team cohesion. I really could see any 2 of these 4 progressing...

Shout out to that last day grudge match between Ghana and Uruguay - TASTY (and I'm not referring to what Suarez will be thinking looking at the Ghanaian defenders).

Quite a hard group to predict and it feels like 5 points might even be enough to win this group just like Group B in the 2018 World Cup. I don't think anyone will run away with it here and goal difference could play a key part.

1. Uruguay

2. Portugal

3. South Korea

4. Ghana

Ghana were rubbish at the AFCON but have recruited some good dual-national players recently (Williams, Lamptey). However, I don't think they've had enough time to gel together for them to do anything in this group. South Korea have a chance of replicating Japan & Saudi Arabia for more Asian success and I think this group will be tight.

1. Portugal

Heung-min Son looking like Batman with the mask on  , understandable though as it was looking like he might miss the World Cup after picking up an eye injury playing for Tottenham a few weeks ago.

It seems that a number of teams in this World Cup are protesting by refusing to score goals.
It might've been a goal if Hwang had taken the shot...
I feel like the entire Uruguay back line has been the same since 2010.

I was thinking something similar to this earlier, that they've been relying on the same players for more than a decade now. That's how you know that Uruguay are not going to do anything special at this World Cup.

Portugal XI: Costa; Cancelo, Pereira, Dias, Guerreiro; Neves, B. Silva, Fernandes; Otavio, Felix, Ronaldo.

Ghana XI: Ati-Zigi; Salisu, Amartey, Djiku; Alidu, Partey, A. Ayew, Adbul Samed, Rahman Baba; Kudus, Williams.

Seems like today isn't the day for goals in this tournament

I spoke too soon!
