Visuals is sometime I really miss from Lana.

When she started the visuals were out of this world

But now we barely get anything and if we do is terrible (ie Chemtrails video)

Love the artworks (the original cover is so good, something very timeless about it), LOVE the song (what a beauty, so cinematically beautiful), love the fact we have a date/title/artwork meaning that this is the first era since lust for life (?!?!) I think where we’ve not had an album title change and the first since honeymoon (!!!) to have a release date that looks like it will remain solid, whew. We’re off to a very coherent and promising start so far! I’m so excited for this era <3

 

The collabs don’t fill me with excitement but I’m looking forward to hearing the Jon Batiste one and buddy’s rendezvous is stunning so hopefully the next Father John Misty collab should be good too! Cba with the bleachers one, adore Jack as a producer but I don’t think I’ve ever really liked one Bleachers song so hopefully it’ll just be bleachers backing vocals (like Lana on the song she did with them or Lorde on don’t take the money) rather than a full collab like anti-hero remix!

I'm also not very excited about the collaborations and would have preferred someone else

more in the line of Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde, Clairo

I’m not too bothered about the Bleachers collab either. I really liked a few from Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night though, so I’m hopeful that it’ll be more in that vein and less like the Anti-Hero remix 😅

 

Can’t wait for the Father John Misty one though, adore his latest album and Lana would fit that more jazzy sound so well (as proven on Buddy’s Rendezvous). Really intrigued by the Tommy Genesis one too, can’t really imagine them together but I have a feeling I’ll love it.

The lead single is her best since the NFR era so we're certainly off to a strong start.

 

I like the new single but hasn't clicked yet

 

The last album had so many highlights, I know many see it almost like a b-sides album cos it had a lot of previously abandoned songs

but for me it's a masterpiece with Blue Banisters-Dealer-Cherry Blossom being the holy trinity :D

 

and Watercolor Eyes for Euphoria might be my fav from her since Venice Bitch

She has had two masterpieces - Born to Die and NFR! The rest have been ... mmmm!!!! Let's hope this is more lile those two, and given the first single, it just might...
