An album track off of Years & Years' solo album, it made the top 10 but got quickly forgotten. The only Y&Y song in the EOY, and honestly rightly so, its one of the better ones on the album though I'm surprised Sweet Talker didnt make it in!

This one stuck out like a sore thumb from the album, and although I liked it originally it soured on me quickly. It sounded like something added on last minute in hopes of getting a hit, which luckily it didn't as there are soooo many better songs on the album.

I remember the first time I heard this, and I loved it! At one stage it was looking like it was going to be #1, but it stalled at #2. However, I bored of it very quickly and it suffered quite a drop. Listening back now, It still is suuuuper catchy and a fun summery bop, though I can see why I got bored of it! I do think it deserved a bit better in terms of chart run and performance though.

I've not heard from Jasmine Thompson in a while so giving love is just a word a listen now! It's a lovely little ballad, can absolutely see it growing on me if I gave it the time. Calm Down was another great offering from the Nigerian chart entries!

it is a niuce one isnt it! And yeah Calm Down is probably the best of the recent afrobeats tracks we've had charting recently!

Yet another Avril album track, this one made the top 10 for a couple weeks but quickly got boring and repetetive causing it to drop a fair bit.

Originally an album track from CRASH that had limited impact, charting at #43 for one week when the album first charted, it later recieved single treatment extending its life a bit, it jumped to the top 10 at #9, and though it has outpeaked some of Charli's other hits from CRASH, it lacked their longevity causing it to end fairly low on the EOY chart.

Snow On The Beach was a track off of Midnights that I was indifferent to, it was fine, nothing special so it started to drop. It did then grow on me causing it to make the top 20 and then Christmas came. I'm not sure if it'll make it back in in the new year, but it could have a decent run if it does!

One of Baby Queen's older songs that briefly charted in May after their use in Heartstopper, though the original soundtrack single was the main focus so interest in these ones was lost fairly quickly!

One of the tracks from Cat Burns' EP that had a decent long chart run despite only peaking at #27. Its a good track and deserved slightly better chart wise imo, but its still good to see it in here, and, at least for me, shes not a one hit wonder!

Lead single from emails i cant send skinny dipping first charted last September, and after a 4 week climb it peaked at #5 for 3 consecutive weeks and ending 2021 at #67 on the EOY. This year it made the top 10 again following the albums release extending its chart run to become Sabrina's 2nd longest running hit, and one of several in the EOY!

Rounding up our string of 5 songs each with 123 points is one of the most recent chart entries. SZA's Kill Bill, taken off her new album SOS debuted at #3 and after just 3 weeks on chart it comfortably makes the EOY chart! And it looks like its going to continue doing well into 2023 as well!

A lot of these I haven't heard myself :kink: but Taylor saving the day with those great songs in 'champagne problems' & 'Snow On The Beach'. The latter sounds better with it being Christmas time but I'm not actually a Lana fan in the slightest so I dubious about hearing this :lol: only to find out she's barely features anyway. It's a decent song.

 

The Charli one is great too albeit I've only heard it once or twice but kinda forgotten it due to it not doing anything for her.
