The Kunts have done at least 4000 downloads on Bandcamp alone today. They could knick this.

Unfortunately we just don't have the numbers to say with certainty whether a last minute campaign behind the Kunts or Sidemen could do it.

 

I'd suggest everyone downloading Wham is the best shot.

LadBaby have been holding their own on iTunes today despite the Sidemen invasion so I think it's safe to say they have had a decent last day sales boost as well.

It's gonna be intense tomorrow, given how little we know about the numbers!

Sidemen sold 11,000 on Wednesday and are at number 9, Kunts up to 7, Top 5 unchanged from Wednesday's update (No sales or gap info for them).

So as thought, can likely expect even higher placings than that for The Kunts and Sidemen in the final chart based on today but no threat to #1.

Apparently if you buy the songs, but don't download them, then they don't count to the chart, so how many sales they could ultimately depend on how many people bothered/remembered to download after purchasing.

I've made a Bandcamp purchase (and download!) anyhow to try and at least push them past Sidemen to get a third top five.

Ah, that's just the number of purchases. But on https://theconservatives.info/ they have a bit reminding people to download, so you'd hope that most have! Kunt just did a livestream where he said they'd done a ton of downloads, so fingers crossed!

It is an independent download side, primarily aimed at indie artists, who get a better share of the sales. And yes - if you downloaded 15 songs at 40p each, then downloaded them, it would count as 15 chart sales! It definitely worked for The Kunts the last 2 years!

Yes mate! Do it, they are actually pretty solid remixes to be fair - especially Cassetteboy! :dance:

Cassetteboy is always quality.

 

I gave a cheeky iTunes download to the original version of the song but might toss them an extra 40p to get the Cassetteboy version off Bandcamp, why not. Under no illusion that they have any chance of #1 but I would like to see them in the top 5 again, especially as this song had a little more effort put into it than the last two Christmas campaigns :kink:
