Title says for itself. What are your personal music related memories from the year 2002. It could be something released, something from a TV awards show or even something in your own life that has great memories attached that are music related in this year. Oh and concerts/gigs can be part of this too.

 

For me personally the start of the dance mat *.* granted the music wasn't really from that year but it was a load of fun nonetheless. I miss those kiddish days. Also TV wise the last time we did very well in Eurovision before it went drastically downhill!

I only turned 5 in 2002 so it's difficult to remember too many memories from the time but Let Go by Avril Lavigne released this year was the first ever studio album I bought *.*

 

I also know that my parents had a Team Will Young poster outside our house for the Pop Idol final :lol: and I vaguely remember 'Sound of the Underground' on the radio at the time too.

An amazing first album to buy at that Jade! *.*

I was also obsessed with S Club 7, I think their TV shows or at least repeats of them were still running on CBBC at that point as well and I remember watching those. Was going to mention the first Pop Party CD but that was actually 2003. Also remember playing on the dance mat very well, my mum once sprained her playing on the dance mat with me and had to go to A&E.
