They did that in 2019/20 and it led to songs like Someone You Loved and Perfect getting a pointless re-sets which then took a long time to be reversed

It would have annoyed many, true (although several weeks of the years are very stale anyhow) but I find tinkering too much and making up rules as you go along makes the chart lose credibility. Wasn't the proper no.1 'Shivers' first week of last year but only 'Overpass Graffiti' got Reset for Ed?

Yeah true - I preferred the blanket 25% increase rule to something non-transparent anyway.

Kinda sucks that Joel/Tom seems to be going to ACR after this week, but they were really dealt a bad hand. It seemed like Lionheart was gonna gain some traction with all the promotion but it lost out on top 20 due to the Xmas invasion, the World Cup ended, and now it looks like it’s gonna do even worse than Joel’s last two singles (maybe even combined) :( He deserves better tbh

yeah shivers would have been the official #1. i remember people being confused as to why shivers was higher than overpass graffiti, they thought shivers had been reset, and it turns out it did more on acr than overpass graffiti on SCR :kink:

hopefully they'll be reset, i mean look at joel/mabel i wish - that got reset in january and spent like 2 months hovering around in the mid 20s! I think thats the problem releasing so close to xmas, the songs risk not reaching their full chart potential

Any them go acr

Eminem - Mockingbird

Joel Corry & Tom Grennan - Lionheart (Fearless)

Lil Uzi Vert - Just Wanna Rock

Meghan Trainor - Made You Look

Mimi Webb - Ghost of You

Stormzy - Hide & Seek

Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero

Taylor Swift - Lavender Haze

Taylor Swift feat. Lana Del Rey - Snow on the Beach

I was hoping that the Xmas songs would help Anti-Hero get a decrease as the other songs which got declines would’ve less likely got a decline without the Xmas songs

They can all go plz.

I really want 'Lionheart' to get a new peak so hopefully it is still in with a chance.

It will almost certainly get a new peak in January I would imagine, even if it has gone to ACR it will get reset

They'll likely be reset in a couple of weeks anyway so it doesn't really matter!

Mockingbird can not get rest 3 years old once goes back acr

The 3 year rule was already waived for its original reset, there's no reason to expect it wouldn't be reset again. (Same for Tom Odell).
rooting for Another Love to re-peak in Jan <3
