Until now, they shared the record for most Christmas No.1s in total with the Beatles, who topped in 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1967. LadBaby now own this record alone – but if we drill down to individuals, Paul McCartney is hanging on, having had four Christmas No.1s with the Beatles, and a fifth leading Wings on 1977 double-header Mull Of Kintyre/Girls’ School.

This got me wondering... Is Melanie C the female that has featured on most Christmas No.1s? She has featured on 4 Christmas #1s.

^ Thanks. Is she considered part of LadBaby though?

4?? You mean Band Aid?

The Justice Collective single was Christmas #1 in 2012.

'LadBaby' seems to be used interchangeably to refer to just Mark or to both of them. I would count her as a 'member' but it's ambiguous.
Paul was in Band Aid 20 as well (only as a guitarist but still) so he is still beating Mark and Roxy.
Of course he will with another egotistical pile of shit and a load of beg videos if it doesn't look to be going his way!
Paul McCartney was also on Justice Collective - He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, so Ladbaby has a few to go to overtake him.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. 3 more LadBaby songs to go then :mansoncheer: :kink:

Paul McCartney has made a valuable lasting contribution to music.

Ladbaby is a stain on a chart history.

I still think if they release again they won’t make #1 (and therefore if they have any sense, which I actually think they probably do, they won’t release again. You can’t beat the law of diminishing returns once it sets in. In their case it was building momentum for a couple of years followed by diminishing returns, but I don’t think they can come back from this year’s sales collapse. The only way it could happen is if next year’s offering was genuinely good in some way and opened them to a whole new audience, and there’s nothing to suggest that will happen.
Roll on next November then to see what happens and this forums reaction!

Next November last 2 years, they left it literally a week before release to announce it
