Hopefully we get some solo albums to help make the wait easier. Would love a solo album from Faye.

Whilst I’d never say never I unfortunately think it’s highly unlikely.

I'd agree. I'd say Glastonbury is not impossible but very unlikely.

I knew it'd probably be 2025 at the absolute earliest to be fair.

 

It's only 3 years, it'll go by quickly.

That's crappy news I had myself convinced we might have a new album this year.

They’ve given us soooo much more as a group than I ever would have imagined pre-2017, so I’m honestly not itching for them to get back together full time so soon. I think they’ve earned pressing pause on the group tbh. I think they need to get people to miss them too. 2020-2022 was very full on.

 

And like Aly says, before we know it it’ll be 2027. :drama: It’s just 3 years. Think back 3 years ago, February 2021 is when they released Heartbreak in This City with Michelle Visage… and at least to me it doesn’t feel like that was all that long ago.

I know the time will fly by and fans will be itching bad for something new at that point, I just wrongly thought the news of them working together again would include a new album.

Its still great they are back in the limelight promoting the musical and its great the platinum collection is widely available to get some spill over sales from the musical.

Yes it has gone silver. Just need WTFHP2 to get there now and all their major releases will have.

With the state of album sales in general it may take a while for silver certification.

The last estimate on the album sales was 45k in 2021 so I'd wager it is likely around the 50k mark at this point. So around 10k away.

If the album is estimated to be 10,000 away from silver certification it could reach the milestone within the next 2 years.

Well better late than never, I'm still disappointed with how it's done though as it deserves far more.

That would result in 2500 sales per year.

It is low but I realise it's possibly realistic.
