I think Becky is great and has put out some great tracks over the past few years, and whilst I like this, I can't see it being a massive hit and I'm not sure if it will be intended to be either. It maybe just something for her fans whilst she's away creating this Summer's dance banger?

I'm not exactly sure what the point of this is, especially considering DJ Sammy has already released the definitive dance version of it. Come on Becky, you're better than these pointless rehashes!

This is AWFUL

 

I was interested to hear her doing a trancy version of it, it sounded good on paper but this isn't it. It sounds cheap, there's no beat and she sounds bored like she's going through the motions. I'd have even preferred her doing a more impassioned vocal to DJ Sammy's backing track.

I think this is a huge misfire. It’s so uninspired! Although it’s the same track length as DJ Sammy’s (infinitely better) version, Becky’s cover really feels like it drags on and on. I agree that she comes across as sounding incredibly bored to be singing it.

 

Now watch it become a smash…

I just noticed that. I went back to this after a few days of listen to the DJ Sammy version and now I’m not really keen on this. It feels like it’s missing something.
