I make Flowers the 16th non-Christmas song to do over a million in a day on UK Spotify. The peak of the 10th highest was Drake - Girls Wants Girls with 1.11 million which I think could be beaten today or tomorrow.

I'm not crazy about the song but always good to see anything cracking 1 million streams, especially with it actually gaining through the week rather than just a big debut!

'Martin's Sofa' is another song that's had a leak / snippet floating around for a while and generating some hype so not surprised it looks set to be Headie's biggest hit for a while. I've seen a similar level of hype for a leak of a new Dave song called 'Adriano' so likewise expect that to be another biggish hit if/whenever it drops.

That just reminded me of the apparent Dave remix of ‘Last Last’ that never dropped. What ever happened to that? Lol

1 Million streams on Spotify is INCREDIBLE for Miley. This has obliterated all my expectations.

Got busy next Friday

Ksi

Rita ora

Zara Larson

Maybe main the kid Laroi song

And big song in February Lauren Spencer Smith

Lol the only one of those I could see debuting at #1 is KSI... in a quieter week, not when something is doing insane numbers.

Insane numbers for Miley. Agree with comment above, absolutely way above anything I would have ever predicted for her. Kind of sad Midnight Sky didn’t get this reaction but Flowers is definitely growing on me

I mean 'Midnight Sky' was a pretty big hit as well. Mega smashes like 'Flowers' are very much not the norm.

'Angels Like You' on the other hand... (was a post album single ik but still feel like it deserved to be massive and could have been with better marketing)

Newies/new entries on Apple:

13. Headie One - Martin’s Sofa

64. Krept & Konan (feat. Abra Cadabra) - Dat Way

87. D-Block Europe - Tears In My Amiri’s

170. Ed Sheeran - F64

200. Switch Disco - REACT

I feel like it would have done really well if released before the album but everyone knows how hard it is to get a post-album hit these days (unless you're called Harry Styles).

Headie One now up to #9 on Apple. I reckon he has a decent chance of being at least #4 on Spotify tomorrow?

Krept & Konan/Abra Cadabra at #50, D-Block Europe at #69.

APPLE:

8 NEW Headie One - Martin’s Sofa

16 Lilianca - People

23 Mimi Webb - Red flags

41 Luude & Issey Cross - Oh My (feat. Moby)

48 NEW. Krept & Konan (feat. Abra Cadabra) - Dat Way

63 NEW D-Block Europe - Tears In My Amiri’s

93 Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man

A full week at #1 on Spotify now for Miley with 1,090,618 yesterday. Second day over 1M, insane!

18,424,325 another Ww peak for flowers 😵
1,090,618 gives Flowers the 13th highest peak daily streams for a non-Christmas song on UK Spotify, just behind No Time To Die. Maybe higher tomorrow?
