Hopefully Def Leppard can get another top 5 album this time around.

Possibly. Although it’s worth noting that it’s an album of orchestral versions of their hits, so expect lower sales than a usual album from them.

There’s a serious lack of hype around the Kesha album but thought it would at least be Top 200 on Apple.

Thought Arlo Parks would have been doing much better!

She'll be mainly relying on physicals. I think her debut album had a similar iTunes position and ender up having great sales, I'll have to check though!

An early look:

1. Foo Fighters

2. Noely G deluxe

3. Noely G standard

4. Jake Shears

5. Avenged Sevenfold

6. Sophie Ellis-Bextor

11. Rufus Wainwright

12. Rancid

14. Ben Folds

16. Bob Dylan

19. Baxter Dury

20. Hollywood Vampires live

24. Gloryhammer

Should be a pretty high selling top 2 this week!

Assuming Noel is more likely to be the #1 here - Foo Fighters' run of studio album peaks since their first #1 has gone 1-2-1-1-2-1-1, so they seem cursed to never get 3 #1 albums in a row if they miss out this week.

Hopefully Jake does decently - I see they’ve gone straight in with the £4.99 price tag on iTunes.

Horan’s label picked quite the empty week
Hoping Squid can chart decently again after their debut made the top 5 - not made a big initial impact on iTunes though, only #50 (weirdly the album is priced at £6.32 which is just the price of all the individual songs added together (8 tracks, 79p each)).
Just checked and the last Horan album opened with 14K
Extreme beating Niall Horan to #1 is not something I ever thought I’d see, wouldn’t have thought they’d even trouble the top 100 with a new album!
