Can't complain too much as I like the song, but I feel like there's an element of him not fully believing in his own music that he has to pull these stunts in order to get a high chart position.

January 13, 20233 yr RAYE might yet get consecutive weeks at #1 anyway, she's almost sure to get back to #1 next week one would think and then who knows if there'll be a credible challenger the week after. Maybe Miley if she gathers steam quickly I guess? Fair to Lewis managing to convince enough people to actually buy a song not even in Christmas #1 week but what a huge downgrade in song quality at #1 after a great start to the year whoops. Would put this song above only LadBaby and Guetta from last year I think (slotting in just behind GAYLE lol). +1 to Sheeran's tally in Gezza's songwriter countdown too, slowly closing that gap to Max Martin :magic: (same for Steve Mac actually)
