  1. SG Lewis feat. Charlotte Day Wilson & Channel Tres - Fever Dreamer – ooh this is a lush nu-disco track
  2. Luude & Issey Cross feat. Moby - Oh My – this almost had it mind
  3. Alok & James Arthur - Work With My Love – albeit a long way off the quality of Lola's Theme
  4. Young Marco - What You Say? – a bit of a pointless re-do for me when the Felon version from a few years back exists
  5. The Chainsmokers & Cheyenne Giles - Make Me Feel – well it's a fair bit better than their recent stuff but still not going on my playlist
  6. Sam Feldt & Cate Downey - Enough To Drink – meh
  7. Martin Jensen & Jay Sean - Days Like This – meh
  8. Marshmello & Jamie Brown - Party Jumpin' – no ty
I vote for Luude, I would prefer to vote PBH & Jack with Alex Hosking new single

Very surprised at Sigala winning last week considering the bland reaction the song had in the album thread  (#justice4rumble)

Went with Young Marco this week though the Luude track is a very strong second.

If I wasn't slightly late to getting around to listening to the songs from week 1 (we moved onto week 2 quickly :kink:) I'd have made it a tie at least ~ enjoyed both of the Skrillex songs and the Tiësto one. Sigala's was not his worst although probably in my bottom 2 of the list with Goodboys oop

Will prioritise listening to these a bit higher this week x

Well I thought I was going to vote for Luude for this week, even though I’m yet to be convinced by the whole production and vocals, but instead I have given my vote this week to The Chainsmokers for a much more inspired release than others in recent memory.

My ratings;

1. The Chainsmokers & Cheyenne Giles - Make Me Feel

2. Luude & Issey Cross feat. Moby - Oh My

3. Marshmello & Jamie Brown - Party Jumpin'

4. SG Lewis feat. Charlotte Day Wilson & Channel Tres - Fever Dreamer

5. Martin Jensen & Jay Sean - Days Like This

6. Sam Feldt & Cate Downey - Enough To Drink

7. Young Marco - What You Say?

8. Alok & James Arthur - Work With My Love

What You Say was the best of a pretty bad bunch 🙉 even SG Lewis was surprisingly meh. I could see What You Say becoming a mainstream hit tbh

It would be nice if this could maybe include 1 or 2 alt/electronic dance songs, for some variety, instead of just being totally commercial or releases by mainstream has-beens

Some great electronic tracks released this week:

Willo - RUSH (Blush)

Julian Bracht - Counting Days

1-800 Girls - 90%

Jasper Tygner - Need You

Or perhaps I should do a separate poll? :kink:

Counting Days and Need You better than all of the tracks listed here 100%!!

Kath you seem a lot more clued up on electronic music than I so I’d be happy for you to run an Electronic Track of the Week and I’ll keep this one for just the mainstream dance releases.

Good: Luude, Young Marco

Decent: SG Lewis, Marshmello

Mid: The Chainsmokers, Alok

Bad: Sam Feldt

Awful: Martin Jensen

Nothing I am super loving but I'll add the top 2 to my playlist. Voted for Luude, I wasn't sure how I felt about the idea of him sampling 'Porcelain' but he did a pretty fine job with it really. Young Marco is the kind of song I wouldn't normally have bothered listening to unless it was charting but checking it out for this poll and pleasantly surprised - maybe a bit over-reliant on the sample but his production style does sound good (even if it takes way too long into the song for it to kick in).

SG Lewis has had better songs this era.

Will vote in Kath's poll tomorrow x

Waiting for week 3 voting😌... there are some new bangers by TCTS, Bklava, Kaleena Zanders, Sonny Fodera, Oliver Heldens....
