January 23, 20233 yr Altyr’s song didn’t do too well in that pop contest. Before I saw that result I’d have called it to be huge here but I’m not sure now. I guess the competition for it in that was insanely high though. I don’t think Aeroche is quite a DNQ, maybe 11-20 in the semi though. It’s not that it sounds like a DNQ but more that this semi is utterly STACKED with songs that sound like qualifiers so there is maybe a slim chance it might just slide out by default, as could about 10 other songs though. Edited January 23, 20233 yr by gooddelta
January 23, 20233 yr I still wouldn't be surprised if 'Mad Man' won here despite the fairly low finish in PFSC. That contest wasn't exactly very geared towards new music. Plus the pop vote is obviously more concentrated here than it is in a 100% pop contest. (how about the novelty of a song that I am actually going to vote for winning though? xx)
January 23, 20233 yr In the month that I feel the most confident about my entry performing well, a fellow pop nation decides to desecrate POPHub’s hopes and dreams I mean, I predicted you to qualify, so this seems a little over dramatic :kink:
January 23, 20233 yr this entire contest is gonna be one giant OOF moment for me huh Spare a moment for those who’ve not qualified for several contests lately.
January 24, 20233 yr I mean, I predicted you to qualify, so this seems a little over dramatic :kink: It was completely hyperbolic but it works for Cody so I’m running with it
January 24, 20233 yr 2 contender predictions omgggg :o :o Also yasssss at more people agreeing with me about Jupiterdonia contending for the win :D

January 24, 20233 yr Was gonna try and do last minute predix for both semis but I haven't got around to doing a relisten of semi 1 and there are a few songs I don't remember well enough to pass judgement on. I did start attempting to do semi 1 predictions but I only marked like 5 songs as likely DNQs and then gave up trying to find 5 more. On the other hand, on my first run through semi 2 I marked 13(!) songs as likely DNQs so I've had to bring 3 of them back (for transparency the ones I brought back were Greenfroze, Dobago and Pestolia so consider those my 'borderline' picks) :kink: I'm being pessimistic about myself oop. Also think Mulgracia would maybe be a borderline qualifier without a deduction but I don't think they'll make it after that. edit: although Dan predicted me out so me qualifying confirmed :cheer: ⬛ SEMI TWO ⬛ 01 ⬛ Tartford: PVA - Talks (Mura Masa Remix) 02 ⬛ Kyriatine: SKAAR - Something Like This 03 ⬛ Kathaldazia: K - Out of luck 04 ⬛ Mulgracia: Valerie Broussard - Drive 05 ⬛ Persephonia: Black Belt Eagle Scout - My Blood Runs Through This Land 06 ⬛ Greenfroze: SANDAL TELEPHONE - Review Preview 07 ⬛ Land of DW: Louise Attaque - La Frousse 08 ⬛ République d'Áskorza: Miss Grit - Follow The Cyborg 09 ⬛ Aesthetica: IVE - After LIKE 10 ⬛ Jadakissnia: Rosegarden Funeral Party - Gates Of Heaven 11 ⬛ Bhangra: Maléna - Can't Feel Anything 12 ⬛ Cor Lupus: HRRTZ & Poppy Baskcomb - Saviour 13 ⬛ Niceland: Gui Brazil & Michaell D - Fire 14 ⬛ Beaverdonia: Kx5 - Alive (feat.
