I've re-ordered my original post (which was originally just in the order of likelihood of being included)... something like this would really work I think:

Celebration

Music

Into the Groove

Everybody or Lucky Star

Dress You Up

Like a Virgin

Open Your Heart

Live to Tell

Justify My Love

4 Minutes

Vogue

Ray of Light

La Isla Bonita

Don’t Tell Me

Frozen (this segues brilliantly between these two because of the strings)

Papa Don’t Preach

Material Girl

Express Yourself

Holiday

Crazy For You

Hung Up

Like a Prayer

I would love the following in particular but I'm not convinced she'll do them:

Borderline

Power of Goodbye

Ghosttown

Secret

Deeper and Deeper

Girl Gone Wild

Rescue Me

24. Bitch I'm Madonna (I hate this but I have the feeling I'd LOVE it in a show lol)

Not sure what order, I would have said chronological but the end part would be a bite muted compared to the earlier huge classics so think it would need mixing up. It would be nice to have at least one song from each studio album, but she should definitely have the bigger hits more heavy in the setlist.

I like this setlist a good order... except for Lucky star I hope she doesn't touch that it's so so bad lol. Also not keen on her doing Everybody I mean I get it is her first single but it wasn't ever a hit Holiday is her first single in the general public's eye.

My main thing is that I really want this tour to be a success, both for fans and critics so that she regains some of the goodwill that she's lost over the years... and I think she needs to avoid later material in order to make that happen.

I'm assuming that she and her team will use the single disc Celebration album as a template as they obviously felt that was her best material. Tellingly they were happy to omit songs from Erotica, Bedtime Stories and American Life as well as omitting all the stand alone and soundtrack singles so I'd expect the same here.

I too would happily have neither of those... however she put Lucky Star on the single disc version of Celebration so it wouldn't surprise me :(

I love these setlists coming in. I think Celebration itself should (and will) be included given the name of the tour and the fact it's probably one of her last big hits. I'd love it to open the show with a bang!

I can totally see your logic re the Celebration disc 1!

Music to me feels like an opener.

“Music makes the people come together”

It’s a statement and it’s also a big hit too. I can see it opening for sure. (But Celebration with the “come join the party” line also feels like an opener as well.

I wonder if the setlist my change depending on the venue too? Like for example certain hits were huge in the UK and not US and then in some instances some big US hits like Take A Bow weren’t really big hits in the UK. There’ll be some staples that’ll be on every show for sure but I can see some slight re arrangements as some countries may have taken to some tracks more than others.

If the point is to regain goodwill, then she needs to be careful what she performs - not just from a hit perspective, but also from a perspective of what she can perform these days vocally; her voice has detoriated really badly in the last decade unfortunately (part down to quite honestly not taking care of it, and for all her work ethic she's never seemingly bothered with proper vocal coaching since Evita). I actually think the single disc edition of Celebration is a decent template to be honest; the one that sticks out there is Ray of Light (Frozen also has a bit of a hard notes for her to hit) which she barely could perform post-Evita when her voice was arguably at its strongest, so she has no hope for that now. I guess she could mime though, I'd expect a fair amount of that happening tbh.

I think so too, especially after performing it at Pride (I reckon it’ll get similar choreography too).

I imagine the versions of the songs performed will resemble closely to the originals but I could see some of the Finally Enough Love remixes being incorporated into them too.

I've started a prayer circle for Angel, Gambler, Causing A Cmmotion, Rescue Me and Rain to appear in some form....

If she included 'Celebration', should it be the original version or the Benny Benassi remix? That feels just as well-known (if not moreso)

I’d say the Benny Benassi version was much more known due to it being the version used on the video and it was also used on the MDNA Tour. I’ve always been a big champion of the album version but ever since the Pride performance I’ve been preferring the remix.

I can’t stand the remix personally so hoping for the original, I think it’d be a great opener!

Benny Remix For SURE !!!

Tried for Sunday London, was 55,000 in one queue and 180,000 in another !

Wouldn't it be good if Madonna revisited the original Vogue dance routine for the tour... even if it was just her backing dancers who actually did the moves.

I've seen it recreated so many times over the years that it remains iconic, so would be something to see it given a nod.

The original Holiday dance was be a serve as well.
