April 20, 20232 yr The 'Cake By The Ocean' songstress did cross my mind when thinking of icons who might get the elusive Ed 30 :cheeseblock: thanks to being reminded that she had a #1 album. I've made some good Marianne Faithfull discoveries from trawling 60s charts, including her biggest hit mentioned here. All of these ladies have their moments tbh - extending to Sian Evans' Kosheen stuff too.

April 20, 20232 yr Shame Paula Abdul didn't finish a little higher, she released some tunes back in the day ('Straight Up' and 'Rush Rush' being my particular favourites) and her Spellbound alum is a decent listen. And of course she also gifted us Kylie's 'Spinning Around' :D as for Little Boots, 'Remedy' remains a pop classic but it's head and shoulders above everything else she released. I'm not sure how to feel about being one of 8 people still having all their acts left, does that mean our tastes are basic and common? :unsure: I'm predicting my 19-pointer to be my first one out but we shall see!
