April 28, 20232 yr Sophie B Lawrence-Ellis-Bextor has always been a fave of mine too, especially the Whaler album
April 28, 20232 yr OMG at Zara not receiving 30 points by her biggest Buzzjack stan that forgot to vote! :o

May 1, 20232 yr Beverley Knight was wasted really as a vocalist. She never quite had the material to rise above mid level success, although I do like enough of her singles to make a best of.
May 1, 20232 yr Beverley Knight was wasted really as a vocalist. She never quite had the material to rise above mid level success, although I do like enough of her singles to make a best of. Totally agree, she had some good stuff but her chart fortunes were very inconsistent.
May 1, 20232 yr Beverly Knight is amazing, had her Who am I album from 02 and has amazing songs Katy B is also amazing, hope she can somehow make a comeback, her first 2 albums were great we are losing quite a few amazing artists, and then there's Samantha Fox :D
May 1, 20232 yr Samantha Fox should have been my full pointer, what a string of hits, but I went with with Paula Abdul. But Touch Me, what a brilliant song.
May 1, 20232 yr Not lost any votes in a long time! Marina and Katy B are my favourites to drop out since I last commented. +1 for FROOT appreciation
May 1, 20232 yr After Sam Fox, Paula Abdul and Tiffany falling, like expected, the not-so-good is left. But they do have some good songs,
May 1, 20232 yr Love Katy B especially 'Katy on a Mission' and 'Crying for No Reason', probably my favourite singles in their respective years.
May 1, 20232 yr 'Beautiful Night' was a good late 00s song by Beverley for me and obviously CFNR for Katy B
May 1, 20232 yr Yeah, Beverley Knight's voice is phenomenal, she really should have been bigger than she was. I love her 'Affirmation' album when she went a bit more pop. Sam Fox songs are kinda fun I suppose :D

May 2, 20232 yr Ooh, love me a bit of Neneh! 'Manchild' and 'Buffalo Stance' are legit two of the BEST songs of the 80s. Like a lot of her 90s stuff too. Unfortunately there just wasn't quite enough space for her in my votes :(
