If Trustfall falls back to where it was after this week (a la Pointless) then maybe it doesn’t deserve top 10 but if it hangs around and stabilise I will be annoyed it missed out of this is it’s best chance of making the top 10.

Hope Rema will be good to hold onto the top 5.

I think 'TRUSTFALL' will probably fall a few places by the end of the week rather than contending for the top 10 but will be great if it can make the top 20 considering it was looking only a week ago like it had probably already peaked due to the brief autoplay surge. It is going to be frustrating if 'As It Was' and especially 'Green Green Grass' end up blocking anything from a top 10 peak but I agree it's more likely to be Lizzy McAlpine than P!nk if anyone (although Lizzy is still rising pretty consistently so hopefully she can be top 10 in a future week if not this week).

#37 is a bit lower than I'd have hoped for for Lana, unfortunately doubt that's going to be enough for her to stay top 40 but we'll see I guess, prayer circle activated. At the very least it looks set to be her first top 50 hit as lead artist since the 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' era.

Does anyone know what platform that song at #74 is getting numbers from? Don't recognise it at all. (Searched the forum for it and I see there was a version of it that was in the Spotify viral chart a few weeks ago, there seem to be several versions of it mostly with different lead artist credits so maybe a case of a few versions being combined but still seems like an oddity).

Yass at SZA's 'Low' coming to finally get its turn in the top 100 *.*

Solid sales for P!nk's album of course, Inhaler doing decently as well and excellent to see Orbital as high as #4 :cheer: and they've already sold, funnily enough, exactly the same amount as last week's #10 so hopefully safe to remain up there for their first top 10 album of the millennium :cheeseblock:

#59 seems a bit disastrous for Skrillex's album? :( I guess 'Rumble' was more a hit because of Fred again.. but I really thought there was more stock in Skrillex as an artist for him to manage some decent streams, ah well.

Although I have to say Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs is up there with the worst band names I've ever heard!

'Worst' is a funny way to spell 'best' x

I am blissfully remaining out of the loop of this Paul Breach character (I was aware he exists but that's about it) but he clearly has terrible music taste on top of any other alleged offences.

It's thanks to Amazon, I've seen the song chart for the last couple weeks, pretty high, like at around #50,

it's at #59 right now although credited as:

59. Beautiful Day (Thank You for Sunshine)

Trinix, Rushawn & Jermaine Edwards

Regarding Lana, I know she probably won't hold... her position seems quite right cos she did better than #37 on Spotify

but she was only 100-something on Apple, and didn't see it on Amazon...

Weekends is still climbing on Apple, but guess it's the only place it's doing something, so not enough

Thanks, didn’t know that. So there’s still some hope.

Shania and Raye falling to back-to-back places in the albums chart will thankfully put an end to that nonsense debate in the Sales thread.

I have to listen to this band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs

The problem with this name is if you say it too fast it sounds like a racial slur. It's possible a radio presenter or interviewer might get in trouble if they don't realise.

certainly it's an attention-grabbing name

It's a pretentious name. I bet nobody ever actually refers to the band as that, everyone probably just says 'Pigs'.

I see, that makes sense then - funnily enough that's actually only the 3rd most popular version on Spotify it appears (behind versions which credit the lead artist as The Kiffness and Prinz respectively, there are also 2 other less popular remixes which do credit Rushawn as the lead artist but it's not clear what the "main" version of the song is meant to be). It looks like they are all just various remixes of a clip of Rushawn singing the song when he was 10 years old (6 years ago) which has gone viral on TikTok.

Lowkey hoping it drops out of the top 100 just because I won't know which version(s) to include in my top 100 hits poll :kink:

The TRINIX and Prinz versions (and the other 2 remixes which are tagged onto the Prinz version on Spotify) came out on the same day while The Kiffness' one came out a few weeks earlier, and also has a slightly different title ('It's A Beautiful Day (Reprise)'), they're all on the same label though so I imagine they're all combined for it to be charting that highly.

Well Pink Floyd had a classic long track on 'Animals' called 'Pigs (3 Different Ones)' and of course there was that Green Jelly top 5 smash 'Three Little Pigs' but this band are taking the volume of porcine to a new level!

That new Mae Stephens song "If We Ever Broke Up" is a future SMASH. :music:
