I see quite a few people view but not comment, they obviously are keeping tabs! Thanks for the bump in your attempt of being shady 💕

The issue with Jesy's music is that her taste is absolutely horrendous.

She's never had good taste, she falls back on cliches, even in Little Mix she never really liked their music (Even their best songs she wasn't a fan of) and all of her concepts are so overdone and tired. She should be aiming to be a bit more out of the box. Given what she "wrote" for Boyz, the lyrical side of her is laughably weak and I really don't see any of this resonating with people.

It's a shame because she is genuinely pretty, has good style, has solid vocal talent etc but her artistic visions are so painfully dated that it's hard to look at her output and think anything other than indifference/negativity.

This trailer has done absolutely nothing for me (I didn't even see it on twitter, it wasn't even good enough to make fun of evidently)

The song is unbelievably bland. Don’t think this will do anything for her I’m afraid.

I don't hate her I just find her amusingly delusional and lacking in self awareness

Tbh I feel the same about other artists like Lisa Scott Lee and 4 sixths of S Club

Excited to listen as I like the snippet and love Jesy’s voice. I also just love her personality, fair enough others think differently, we all have different tastes :)

Which 4? :teresa:

I'm not hating that preview tbh, it kinda is my vibe. Although her style of singing isn't really my thing

This is going to be my concern and has been since I first heard she was going to go solo. I’ll wait until I’ve heard the song in full, but her voice really doesn’t vibe with me and I find it all over the place, which is why I think she’s the one who is the one who would be better off in a group. In small doses it’s fine (like in I Love You - she shines for example) but a full solo career? Not sure it’s gonna be for me.

Everything surrounding her just doesn’t sit right with me still either and I’m struggling to accept it. But that’s for a different topic.

The song is shockingly nothingy. Like, it goes absolutely nowhere.
I wonder when she recorded it. Was it before or after she left Polydor?
