Voted after that refresher!

Favourite: Murder On The Dancefloor (technically 'Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)' is my favourite, but the studio version, so switched it up) - a pop classic *.*

Least Favourite: Final Move (was a bit plodding, this and the song before it were the lull of the album for me)

I have gone with Murder On The Dancefloor as her iconic signature single that no other can beat of course.

My least favourite I voted for was The Universe Is You.

'Murder On The Dancefloor' is unbeatable of course. I prefer it to 'Groovejet' too which is also excellent.

Will rank and vote as per soon.

Felt like this album kept alternating between songs that sounded cool and songs that did absolutely nothing for me

1 Murder On The Dancefloor - this was the only song I actually recognised so the other singles either passed me by entirely or didn't stick with me at all (and tbh I can't say I particularly cared for the other 2 top 3 hits from the album so I wasn't missing much). A classic anyway so was always going to be a likely #1 by default

2 Sparkle - this one is actually really good too though

3 Move This Mountain

4 I Believe - liking the trip-hop sound of these two (both by the same producers which makes sense)

5 Music Gets The Best Of Me - was grooving to this, shame this wasn't as big a hit as the other singles

I liked 'Lover', 'By Chance' and 'Leave The Others Alone' too. And 'Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)' is obviously also fab but I'm not counting it in this ranking since it's just a random live version on the album.

I think 'The Universe Is You' was the one that left the least impression on me so I'll vote that as worst but there were a few songs that pretty equally went over my head (including the other two singles which I'm sure is a scorchingly hot take).

Murder on the Dancefloor - An absolute stomper, the perfect way to start the album. Catchy, iconic and an incredible video too.

Take Me Home - I like this one more now than I did 21 years ago, saying that I'm still not it's biggest fan. One of the weaker singles.

Lover - One of if not my favourite album tracks, very early 2000's but very good.

Move This Mountain - My first SEB purchase, well only as it was a double a with Get Over You. Saying that I still grew to really like this one. Nice choice as a single.

Music Gets The Bets of Me - Another strong track and another great single choice. I can remember seeing this one all over the tv back in the day.

Sparkle - A nice album track, I think I also remember it being a b-side? Fits in perfectly here on the album.

The Universe Is You - I like this one, the album tracks have been quite strong for me so far.

I Believe - A slight dip for me but it's still decent enough.

Get Over You - Another stomper of a song, loved it from when I first heard it. The perfect follow up to Murder on the Dancefloor. "You drive me crazy up the wall'. love the chorus.

By Chance - A change in pace but I really like it, right up there with Lover and Sparkle for great album tracks for me.

Is It Any Wonder - Pleasant but a little forgettable for me. the first really dip in the album.

Leave The Others Alone - The dip continues, not really a fan of this much. Least favourtie song from the album sadly.

Final Move - I quite like this one, picking back up to hopefully finish the album strong.

Everything Falls Into Place - Fell like this is a bit odd but it has a certain charm to it, I like it.

Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) Live - Not as good as the studio version which is an absolute classic but it was still nice to get this on the album in some shape or form.

I really like Take Me Home, I could have easily voted that as my favourite too!

I didn’t realise that was her solo debut until a few years after it’s released. I think because Take Me Home didn’t do much internationally compared to Murder on the Dancefloor.

Also to the. Odd, great last few albums that you’ve chosen. Really enjoyed taking part in these.

Are there anymore coming?

I think up until a few years ago it was my favourite Sophie single period (although 'Bittersweet' has now taken that place)

I'm not sure what's happening yet but I know that's the end of our genre album picks now.
