March 24, 20232 yr Tim to remove the question mark from the sub-title then. Easily 9+ week #1 imo. We could be in for a run of songs only leaving #1 when they hit ACR.
March 24, 20232 yr I like this. In honesty the first verse is a bit blah, but once it hit the chorus I was in and that was it. Second listen was better. Liking the video as well. Whether is smashes or not will be left to be seen but, as has been said, it seems a shame to knock a big artist for giving a stuff about the charts when he's one of the only ones who actually does. March 24, 20232 yr Hopefully this is his Hollier moment, with a kuch worse song, and the bubble bursts. DEESPERATE DEBBY
March 24, 20232 yr I actually like this so that’s probably a sign it won’t be a gigantic hit (my personal favourites by him ALL missed #1 though (like seriously for an artist who’s had that many #1s it’s crazy how I can name around ten singles of his that I prefer to all of his #1 tracks This obviously will head there though but I’m not expecting it to be a 9/10+ week #1. It might get a boost album release week but I do have a feeling Miracle could sneak a #1 peak in the next few weeks and I’m also sure that Lewis will push something in the next couple of weeks too. <_< ). This is Possibly his best #1 alongside Beautiful People though and that’s just off two listens. Edited March 25, 20232 yr by JLJ
March 24, 20232 yr After a full day with this...I can confidently say this is his best song in years! Infectious and brilliant. This album will be HUGE.
March 25, 20232 yr His weakest lead single to date for me. The first verse is a little weak, although the chorus is catchy. The song doesn't build up as much as I thought it would/would want. Could use a bit more oomph! I can see it going to #1, but I don't think it'll be a long lasting #1.
March 25, 20232 yr Not good enough.. heard it once and that was it… ofc we are severe judging him cause he is ed sheeran but ….

March 25, 20232 yr Very much a run-of-the-mill track that could've been a post-album single on Equals *sigh*. It's not terrible but definitely nothing to shout about
March 25, 20232 yr I’ve always enjoyed Ed’s music and went to see him in concert here a couple of weeks ago, turns out he’s a really great performer which I wasn’t expecting. Maisie Peters opening was a blessing too. I like this a lot although I agree with the others that it’s his least “lead single sounding” lead yet. I’m sure it’ll be a surefire #1 worldwide but longevity wise I’m not convinced. Over here it’ll be #1 for 8+ weeks but in the UK I expect Calvin/Ellie will put up a fight and overtake in a few weeks especially with you lot coming into summer. That said, his album is only out in May so that’s providing he doesn’t release any more singles beforehand lol
March 25, 20232 yr #5 on Spotify today. Hope it goes #1 on there tomorrow FLOP!! Hope itgets nowhere near.
March 26, 20232 yr I honestly didn't realise Jonathan Ross' show was still airing. I just gave this my first listen and... it's alright, rather unremarkable imo.
