The beginning of a legendary partnership.

It was a great time to work with the Weeknd with 'Can't Feel My Face' and 'The Hills' just around the corner.

   this is easily my favourite so far and stayed my #1 Ari song for another 4 years!

The first of three Ariana and The Weeknd collabs today

It feels so weird hearing this now

I've become a bit anti-Christmas music over recent years but I'll make an exception for Ari. I just hope it can sneak a top 10 peak eventually.

One Last Time

It's impossible to listen to it without the context of Manchester now but it's such a beautiful track. It would certainly be near the top of my list of her greatest songs.

Closing the My Everything portion of this listen-through in style  this is beautiful, the Manchester connotations making it hit even harder nowadays 🐝

Lol 'Santa Tell Me' getting these casual March streams x

'One Last Time' definitely took the recontextualising from the tragedy for me to really appreciate it unfortunately but at least I do really like it now.

'Adore' feels like its been completely forgotten about.

It's probably my least favourite of their collabs anyway.

Think I have only heard these Cashmere Cat collabs once before for the singles rate - pretty sure I liked the other one a lot more than this one. This one sounds ok tho. x

As ever I would like this so much more if the chorus was made up of Ariana's vocals instead  I actually quite like the "let's find the light inside our universe now..." pre-chorus.

Was just wondering what Cashmere Cat has been up to recently as I haven't heard the name for a while, turns out he is a co-writer of The Kid LAROI's 'STAY' :o who knew x

(also... this song is still garbagio)

Focus is still amazing and you're both wrong. :P It's still the equal longest running #1 hit in my charts (with 'Good 4 U') at 11 weeks.

Although I am glad that she eventually ended up going in a completely different direction for the 'Dangerous Woman' album

This is... a song that exists :kink: not a vintage portion right now, but fear not, as the Dangerous Woman era is just around the corner... *.*
