Now the start of an era that will be extremely difficult to ever top for me :wub: loved this more rock-leaning pivot from her! Always one she nails vocally.

I think Scooter Braun was the connection! He apparently opened for both Ariana and Meghan's tours as well :lol:

Dangerous Woman felt like such a risk but it turned out so well. I remember listening to it on release day back-to-back as many times as I could on my walk to sixth-form.

 

Still waiting on that second music video though Ari!!!

 

16. Into You

This is a great album but no secret that I don't think the singles reflect the quality of the album as a whole at all for me. 'Into You' is great though.

It's absolutely criminal how low 'Into You' peaked in the major charts. It's absolute pop perfection.

I remember BuzzJack crashing when this song came on during our Dangerous Woman listen-through, so hopefully that doesn't happen again :kink:

 

Anyway, this has actually got better and better for me over the years *.* one of her strongest pop moments!

 

17. Side to Side (feat. Nicki Minaj)

This one isn't really to my taste but I'm happy it brought this wonderful era some huge success. Its performance was so impressive for a post-album single!

 

and the video is iconic of course *.*

 

It feels weird that 'Side To Side' was the biggest hit from the album even if the video feels like one her most iconic.

I still see "Ariana run pop" quoted on stan twitter when I happen to stumble across it :lol: *.*

 

18. My Favorite Part (with Mac Miller)

I'm happy that we got multiple Ari and Mac collabs. RIP :heart: this is sounding as smooth as ever so far.

I'm not massive on Mac's vocals on this one but I do like it's funky production.

 

19. Faith (with Stevie Wonder)

I remember 'My Favorite Part' being a really nice discovery from the singles rate and still sounding great now too :heart:

 

This Stevie Wonder one not quite as much :kink:

This feels like a forgotten moment in her discography but I think it's so much fun whenever it's on!

 

"See the boy with the Stevie Wonder swag?", though. :lol:

The chorus to 'Faith' does get stuck in my mind sometimes but it's not a great song.
