This was definitely the most attention-grabbing title when the track list dropped :lol: the production is so great on this!

This one is just fun. It might not be the best from the album but I love it.

 

I do wonder what 'Remember' would have sounded like if it didn't get scrapped and replaced with this. I know it has been leaked so I could hear it but that just feels wrong.

I understand this song being divisive but it's still easily my favourite of the singles from the era and 2nd fave on the album overall after 'bad idea', banger.

 

32. Rule The World (with 2 Chainz)

Well... this happened :lol: Ariana's chorus is lush so I'm happy to hear that bit of it again but find the 2 Chainz parts a bit of a chore, oops.

I forget this was a thing. I've never really got into it.

 

33. MONOPOLY (with Victoria Monét)

I will always bat for 'MONOPOLY'. Ari & Victoria are just having so much fun and I find it infectious. It's honestly one of the Ari songs I've gone back to most of the past couple of years.

This has grown on me a bit over time but still not a massive favourite or anything. The video though *.*

 

 

34. boyfriend (feat. Social House)

Poor brave 'boyfriend' in the survivor :kink: admittedly I don't return to it much.

I don't get the hate for 'boyfriend'. I assumed it was just because she was so overexposed at the time with loads of new releases in a short time but it was first out on the survivor so time obviously hasn't helped it.

 

I think it's catchy and has a great video.

 

35. Don't Call Me Angel (with Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Rey)

Don't Call Me Angel was released two days before I saw her on the Sweetener World Tour so I was in a huge Ari mood at the time. I don't go back to it at all though now.

I was sooooo hyped for this with Ari and Lana being two of my favourite singers, plus Miley was a big childhood fave.

 

Admittedly, I stanned this more at the time than I do now, but still a fun soundtrack song really.

Find a couple of these inter-era tracks a bit underrated - 'MONOPOLY' and 'Don't Call Me Angel' are both bops. 'boyfriend' is not awful but I do find it very forgettable, it just sounds like a lesser version of 'thank u, next' which is already not exactly one of my fave Ariana songs.

 

36. Good As Hell (with Lizzo)

I wasn't particularly a fan of the original and Ariana didn't really change that oops :kink:

'Good As Hell' is probably my least favourite song of the lot today. I've just never been able to get into Lizzo, even if this certainly far from her worst release.

Can't really say Ariana does much to save this song from just being mid :kink:
