The remix of '34+35' is definitely an improvement on the original for me but still not a fave. (Lol at Doja Cat's line referencing 6ix9ine, had forgotten about that - that's now twice I've posted in this forum about completely forgetting about something 6ix9ine adjacent in Ariana's recent history, I guess good to not let him take up too much space in my memory xx)

'positions' and 'pov' are both still great

'pov' is pretty but not a favourite of mine. The VEVO live performance elevated it for me.

Omg yes the Vevo performances were such a highlight of this era

I'm sad that a music video never materialised for this as there was definitely talks of one!

I haven't returned to it thaaaat much but I should, this is reminding me how great it is *.*

I'd only heard this one a couple of times before and didn't remember how it went at all. It's much better than I remembered.
Not really a fan of Demi most of the time but this song is great, one of Ari's better features for me!

Penultimate song :o 'Save Your Tears' went to #1 in my personal chart in both its original form and via the Ari remix  it's glorious

I was already so over the original by the time the remix came out for me to really get into it.

It's back to sounding great though now it's not played everywhere anymore.

This was at one point taking over as my favourite song ever from The Weeknd - with a bit more time passing and it getting just a tad oversaturated I think it's now fallen back behind 'Starboy' and maybe also 'The Hills' but still definitely among his best.

(I say that based on the original version but as I posted in the Ari/Abel collabs poll thread, I kind of see the two versions as pretty equivalent and I'd go to this version for a casual listen if I ever felt like having one even though I don't think it's per se better than the original)

The current #1 in my personal chart

It was never a favourite from Starboy from me but it has clicked with me massively after the remix.

Final song, we made it :o this is not quite in the same league as 'Save Your Tears' but has proven to be a bit of a grower.

Ari's enunciation is sounding so clear here - bring on her Wicked vocals *.*

I've listened to this one a handful of times now, thought there was a chance it might grow on me a bit more but I wouldn't say it has, though I do still think the remix is solidly better than the original at least. Still nice to have something new from her after a longer than usual silence anyway.

Thanks so much Bré and Lewis for being such an engaging and fun audience  had a bit of a rubbish day at work and this cheered me up so much!

It's really difficult to make scheduling events work for everyone </3 but anyone feel free to leave belated thoughts.

That was really fun. It was great to go through her whole career all at once.

Thanks for hosting Jade.

No worries  I guess we had the music video session before on plug.dj, but where the AF is concerned, these are usually concentrated to albums, so really enjoyed such a thorough look back too.

I've missed this format! Maybe we can do Charlie's Angels and k bye for now (swt live) at some point. ^_^

Was fun to listen through her discography again, I rarely go back to listen to older music so nice to have an excuse to hear some older faves again!
