Really enjoyed this album, quite a few standout tracks!

1 Acrylic Afternoons - the instrumental has been stuck in my head ever since hearing this, loving the unhinged vocal delivery as well

2 Babies - already heard this as a bonus track at the #1 albums session the other week and sounding even better the second time, ear candy guitar riff

3 She's A Lady - stood out a lot with the spacey synths and the effect on the vocals

4 Someone Like The Moon - more spacey synths and a delightfully eerie atmosphere to this one

5 David's Last Summer - would not sound out of place among the current post-punk scene, enjoyed the spoken word verses

Also really liked the other 2 singles as well (particularly enjoyed the riff in the chorus of 'Do You Remember The First Time?'), plus 'Joyriders' was a solid opener and 'Have You Seen Her Lately?' was one I got into more as it went along so potentially might be a grower. Only leaves a couple of songs that didn't leave much of an impression.

(interesting reading back the thread and seeing 'Pink Glove' is actually a favourite for a lot of people, that wasn't so much the case on SyncTube...! I didn't dislike it but it was definitely one of the least standout tracks for me. I do see it's the most streamed album track on Spotify though so the earlier posters in this thread are clearly more on the pulse of the general public)

Great listening session yesterday :D

My top 5:

1. Do You Remember The First Time?

2. Babies

3. Lipgloss

4. David’s Last Summer

5. Have You Seen Her Lately?

Honourable mentions to Joyriders and Happy Endings as well.

I put down the popularity of Pink Glove to people searching for "condom songs" and getting that one and House Of Fun as the only options
Really good album, I thought , and She's A Lady was my big unknown takeaway, adding it to my itunes basket any minute until I get round to adding the album to my huge pile of unplayed CD's...
