Orville Peck guest judges and once again its an hour long episode, yes gawd mama

I wasn't a fan of Luxx's behaviour this episode. For me personally it crossed a line. I don't love how Very Online fans are trying already to turn it into a race issue either.

poor poor salina. she did so well in the rusical, would have loved if she had another lipsync win tbh, though neither of them did it any justice.

 

not mistress magically avoiding the bottom 2 for the third week in a row

 

 

I thought the judges decision on this one was dodgy as hell

 

Lucy was praised and I actually thought she was top 2 until Michelle’s after critique made it clear she was lip syncing. I actually thought Salina won the lip sync

 

I would have put Mistress, Luxx or Sasha bottom 2 over the others as I found all 3 to be good but not great

 

The bullying aspect is still there for me, although I find it hard to watch when Lucy goes into self destruct mode

Mistress was the far away winner for me- I think Anetra was absolutely fantastic and wasn’t an undeserved win but Mistress was fantastic

funny cos mistress was one of the worst for me. she didn’t really do the choreography or come off as particularly evil. plus the reveal was showing from the moment she walked on in the second part lol.

I genuinely can't believe Luxx's track record. To me she has been 'just ok' the majority of the season. She sewed well. That's it. I'd place her safe-low otherwise. And Loosey did carry her to the comedy win. Only for her to turn around and be a bitch. Salina four-bottoms deserves to stay more? Sure Mary.

I actually do think Loosey was the worst this week tbh, not bad but it was kind of giving Jan. I guess that preppy attitude was the character, but idk I feel like she was giving exactly what you expected whereas for example Mistress I feel really put herself into the character which was a strength of hers when she wasn’t as comfortable with the choreography part of the Rusical. Idk ironically Loosey needs to let loose :lol: Sometimes she does feel a bit stiff and *too* put together, there’s not really any risk or anything that surprises you, she’s talented and all I think she’s great, especially great TV, but at this stage she definitely trails behind the likes of Sasha, Anetra, Mistress and even Luxx. I kind of get what Luxx was saying, in saying that, I fully agree. I don’t think any of it was that nasty tbh, it was very much a self produced TV moment but there’s truth in what she’s saying.

 

Having said that, I think this justifiably could have been a non elimination with a top 2 lipsync especially with the message of fighting against outlawing drag, it would have been a great positive and defiant message when nobody did badly really. And imagine Anetra vs Mistress to Running Up That Hill!!

Everyone did really well in the Rusical! Was really enjoyable. I thought Mistress was going to win though! She was my favourite and her runway was stunning. :wub:

I feel a bit sorry for Salina as she's been in the bottom 2 a couple times where she actually did fairly well/good. I thought she beat Loosey in the lip sync too.

 

I've gone off Lux completely now though. She's very abrasive and quite frankly a bitch from what I saw of her tonight.

How is that not nasty?! On the main stage in front of all 4 judges praising each and every queen then targeting Loosey at the end of that. Lux could've easily just said "I don't think Loosey's drag is very unique so I pick her" and kept it moving.

I agree, I think she is probably really annoying to be around and in a pressurised situation like a competition it probably gets to people. Luxx wasn’t the *nicest* about it but I feel like it’s a self produced reality TV moment for more than it is her being some kind of horrible bully, in essence what she was saying was true and drag has always been shady with calling each other out etc., they all seem to be friends now so I think it was just a pressurised situation flaming things up moreso.

 

If anything that’s my problem with Luxx, often it feels like she’s studied how to be a memorable Drag Race queen and whilst it makes for some great moments and good TV, I can’t authentically connect with her like say Sasha, Anetra or Mistress.

Oh don't get me wrong, Loosey isn't a saint by any means and I don't think she's a victim at all. Both her and Lux are my least favourite queens still on the show. I was mainly referencing Lux's talk on the main stage. Although her general arrogance and Loosey's ongoing delusion have grated on me at times.

I agree that Loosey wanted the lead role but I also do not gel with Luxx at all. Apparently at her Roscoes interview she also said that her edit was totally accurate and she was happy with it which... to put it the nicest way possible strikes me as very immature. The way she behaved wasn't funny or bitchy to me, it was mean deliberately to make someone else feel bad.

100% agree. The way she did it was calculated to be hurtful and also to put a wedge between Salina who was always in the bottom, and Loosey who was doing pretty well. I like Salina but there was no way she was winning with that track record and imo Luxx only wanted to keep her around because she was no threat.
