The paragraph from your last entry that starts with "Debut and Lover also lose two tracks too!" is repeated in this entry, is there supposed to be a different paragraph there?

Oops, that was a mistake :kink:

100. Our Song

99. mad woman

98. The Great War

97. The Joker & The Queen (Ed Sheeran ft. Taylor Swift)

96. Me! (ft. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco)

95. Fearless

94. New Year's Day

93. long story short

92. Carolina

91. Teardrops On My Guitar

Top 100 time!

Debut bookends this section with two singles! First out is yeehaw bop Our Song, a Taylor classic and in full country-accent twang mode but it remains an uptempo bop to this day *.* Also departing is Teardrops On My Guitar, which was one of the first ever Taylor songs I discovered. I normally prefer the pop version as this is the version I remember so well growing up (the music video was on the music channels all the time and I was obsessed) but the country version has been hitting harder than usual recently, a beautiful song. The fact this is only 91st here shows how incredible her discography is! New Year's Day also leaves this section, which is a beautiful track with one of her best lyrics (the stranger one) and unsurprisingly I listen to this EVERY New Year's Day as it is the national anthem for that holiday x A beautiful closer to Reputation. And on that note with Our Song departing too, that means all album closers are now out and NYD is my fave album closer! :o

Most of her more recent albums lose a track each here. mad woman was an initial favourite on folklore for me but dropped down my rankings quite quickly after a couple of listens. Still a wonderful track tho and I love her vocals + the witchy production on it. long story short shook me on first listen as I was not expecting a bop like that on evermore, it still remains a bop. And The Great War departs from Midnights, and will probs be out of my top 100 sooner rather than later. Great track but I don't go back to it as much as I used to anymore.

Back to early Taylor and we lose the titular track from Fearless, which is such an anthem and is one of the highlights from that album! Such a sing-a-long classic. And to new Taylor, we lose a soundtrack single with Carolina from Where the Crawdads Sing, which honestly deserved an Oscar let alone was snubbed sadly. Its a beautiful track and for me it can fit on folklore easily, and I've returned to it a lot more than I was expecting to after its release.

And now onto the 2 songs that nobody else probably ranks in their top 200 favourite Taylor Swift songs. The Joker & The Queen is honestly such a beautiful track, and Taylor brings it to life so much, she sounds amazing on it and its a beautiful ballad. Honestly deserves way better and was a surprisingly great song, especially for another Ed collaboration. And yep, I lowkey love Me! Yes it is a f***ing mess. Yes it should have never ever been the lead single in any universe. But its such a fun bop?! I adore the music video as well (the end part is one of my fave Taylor music video scenes) and honestly yes the lyrics are iconic, justice for hey kids spelling is fun! Its honestly such a fun track and will always put me in a great mood, and its top half on Lover, so yes I am a Me! defender and it deserves top 100 x

Love long story short - such a great tune. A highlight of Evermore for me.

I am also love the great war. The joker and the queen definitely wouldn't be as high for me.

I can’t believe I haven’t got around to commenting on this yet but here’s a massive catch up!

Agreed with your bottom 50 on the whole, especially I Forgot That You Existed, Lover Remix, Innocent and I Heart? which all definitely deserve their place there. The biggest shocks for me were The Way I Loved You and The Last Time - those two are towards the top of my rankings for both of their respective albums :cheeseblock:

A few others that I would’ve put a little higher are Forever Winter, Maroon, Message In A Bottle, illicit affairs. WTNY, Clean, This Love and The Great War hurt too

Looking forward to seeing your top 90 *.*

90. Back to December

89. the 1

88. I'm Only Me When I'm With You

87. Labyrinth

86. Beautiful Ghosts

85. I Think He Knows

84. Coney Island (ft. The National)

83. Ours

82. End Game (ft. Ed Sheeran & Future)

81. Girl At Home

We're hitting the 10/10 songs in the next section whew! :o

Speak Now is the only album that loses multiple tracks here! First out is single Back To December, a soaring break-up song about Taylor Lautner (who she's just filmed a music video with *.*) and I've always loved the lyrics and cinematic building production of this track so much. I've always stanned the tour mash-up she did of this with Apologise and You're Not Sorry too. Also departing is deluxe edition single Ours, which never used to be a major fave but has really hit me so much over the past few years. There's something so simple but poignant about the lyrics and its such a cute bop. A couple of other deluxe tracks depart here. Self-titled loses yeehaw sing-a-long BOP OF LIFE I'm Only Me When I'm With You, whew what a gem and that chorus is so ridiculously catchy. And another deluxe track leaves in the form of one of Tay's most underrated tracks, the wonderful Girl At Home. Such an all-time bop and the re-up version on Red TV was a surprise that did take some time to get used to but its cute. An underrated bop, tho what used to be my fave of the three Red deluxe tracks is actually now my least fave of them! (The other two have probs been two of the biggest growers in her discography for me over the past few years)

More opening tracks and singles depart here. The 1 introduces us perfectly to the world of folklore, and I love the lyrics so much. A fantastic album introduction (even if it is the weakest of the first 9 tracks on a masterpiece of an album). End Game is another underrated BOP, Tay's verse is such a serve and is one of the best parts of Reputation. I love this so much and it deserves a better reaction from both the fanbase and charts. That also now means all Ed tracks are OUT! And we lose another soundtrack single with the gorgeously underrated Golden Globe nominated Beautiful Ghosts from the movie masterpiece and all-time classic known as Cats. The song is beautiful and its nice to hear a Broadway-style ballad from Taylor!

Also departing here are songs from the Republic era. Labyrinth was one of the biggest growers on Midnights, I love the lyrics and production, it gives me major Melodrama vibes and is such a calmingly beautiful track. Coney Island grew on me so much after I visited Coney Island (and listened to the song about 300 times whilst I was there), and is another great Taylor duet in the folkmore eras. And also departing is one of the biggest bops from Lover, the wonderful I Think He Knows which I've always found to be very Carly-ish. The final chorus is just an explosion of fun and honestly it would've made a great first single from Lover I feel (which it was supposedly before me! got recorded)

Faves since I last commented are 'This Love' (one I had kind of forgotten until the TV came out but it was a highlight for me to begin with so an inspired choice to give some individual attention), 'Gasoline' (a nice example of a fairly minimal remix that still feels like it adds a lot to the song), 'The Archer' (nooo at this just missing the top 100 </3), 'The Great War', 'long story short' (a big slow burner for me), 'Carolina' and especially 'Labyrinth'

I do think both of those Ed collabs are a bit overhated too although surprised to see them finishing so high here!

what is ME! doing above The Great War :o

I am one of the three Me! defenders in this world :kink:

So was I!! When doing this I realised I kind of actually really like the Ed collabs (bar Run) as much as I complain every time he pops up again

#80-#71

80. The Story of Us

79. King of My Heart

78. Dancing With Our Hands Tied

77. All You Had to Do Was Stay

76. Bad Blood (ft. Kendrick Lamar)

75. 22

74. Never Grow Up

73. Mr. Perfectly Fine

72. Right Where You Left Me

71. Come Back... Be Here

Also sidetone I'm not editing the ranking from when I made it a couple months ago!

We lose two huge top 10 hits here! Bad Blood remix version has always been superior to the original, the Kendrick verses are good, the video is obviously iconic (and f*** I watched it SO many times in 2015) and the production is a serve. Honestly underrated. And 22 is obviously a timeless bop and it helps that I'm 22 right now so obviously its been a big anthem this year x A couple more singles leave here! The Story of Us was top 3 in my Speak Now trinity when I was like 12, I still love it and the lyrics are clever, but I don't go back to it as much as I used to anymore! And we lose the final Fearless vault track as Mr. Perfectly Fine is a perfectly fine BOP.

Reputa loses two tracks here back-to-back. I've always had very similar feelings for both KOMH and DWOHT so not surprised to see them together here, love the production flourishes on both & the changes between the chorus/verses, and the lyrics are strong. Both underrated reputation bops x All You Had to Do Was Stay was just more 1989 pure-pop perfection, what a catchy bop. Never Grow Up never used to be a favourite of mine but the lyrics and melody really hit me hard a few years ago and its such a relatable song that just hurts so yeah I now love it. Similarly, Come Back... Be Here was also a very late grower on me, I love the Avril-vibes of it and the changing chorus lyrics, and its another Red deluxe track that should've been on the main album! We also lose another bonus track with Right Where You Left Me, what an absolute bop and no wonder why its one of the most streamed songs from evermore x

not formatting or I will never finish this x

70. this is me trying (folklore)

69. august (folklore)

68. The Man (Lover)

67. tis' the damn season (evermore)

66. Superman (Speak Now)

65. The Very First Night (Red)

64. Vigilante Shit (midnights)

63. seven (folklore)

62. Cold As You (Taylor Swift)

61. Soon You'll Get Better (Lover)

60. mirrorball (folklore)

59. Starlight (Red)

58. Midnight Rain (midnights)

57. I Did Something Bad (reputation)

56. Style (1989)

55. gold rush (evermore)

54. marjorie (evermore)

53. ...ready for it (reputation)

52. I don't wanna live forever (NAS)

51. Forever & Always (Piano Version) (fearless)

Taylor Swift: Cold As You drops out here and I believe there's only 1 track left from self titled. CAY is one of her most underrated songs, such a beautiful ballad & proved her immense talent from such a young age.

Fearless: Again only one drops out, with the gorgeous piano version of Forever & Always, the only good deluxe track from that album x I wonder what beat it to the top 50 :o (I lowkey screamed when I just realised what I did!)

Speak Now: Just loses one again with once again another deluxe track x Superman is SO underrated and I can't believe it wasn't on Spotify for ages :( Such a fun melody and I love the corny but cute lyrics, what a bop.

Red: Loses 2 here. Another deluxe, well vault track, goes out with The Very First Night. What an absolute bop that should've made the main album, tho maybe it should be about 10 places lower here oops x And Starlight took forever to hit me but when it did, whew, a life affirming bop.

1989: Just loses one here but its a big one with smash hit Style. Pure pop perfection, though I probs don't rank it as high as most other Swifties. (Its the weakest non BB single from the album for me, and the only one that didn't go #1 in my personal chart!).

Non album singles: The eternally underrated I Don't Wanna Live Forever just misses the top 50. When this came out part of me wondered if I just stanned it that much cos it was the first time we heard from Taylor in 2 years, but nope honestly its just a great song and one of Taylor's best attempts at this sexier style. I adore the chorus and yep still go back to it regularly.

Reputation: Loses two BOPS here with brash hits I Did Something Bad and ...Ready For It, still get my life to both of them regularly.

Lover: Loses two. First with The Man. I was utterly obsessed with this when it came out (would've been top 40 easily & challenging for my fave on the album) but idk the video just really killed this one for me a bit, in a way that's never happened with a Taylor song before  Still an underrated bop though. And Soon You'll Get Better is arguably the most heartbreaking song in her discography, its helped me through some tough times and sends me into tears every time I hear it, but its a masterpiece + I love the Chicks harmonies + the hard-hitting but beautiful lyrics. Underrated gem.

folklore: bleeds a bit with four going out here. This Is Me Trying crept up in my folklore rankings overtime through its relatable & powerful lyrics, august is a classic + love the melody/storytelling, same applies to Seven & I love the wistfulness of that song, and Mirrorball is just a beauty.

evermore: folkmore bleeds as evermore loses three. Tis' The Damn Season really hit me overtime, once again great storytelling and I love the kind of Xmas-y feel of it. Gold Rush/Marjorie have always been back-to-back in my estimations & both instant album highlights, the former is wonderful - nice switch-up with the production, and the latter is poignant with stunning lyrics.

Midnights: loses two with underrated bop of life Vigilante Shit (y'all will see the light someday) and fan favourite Midnight Rain which really grew on me overtime, it gives me Melodrama-interlude so I love it for that.

Top 50 soon! x
