Goodnight Saigon is absolutely one of Billy Joel's all time classics! Most fans would consider it one of their favourites.

I won't argue against it being a fan favourite but at least amongst his casual listener base it is not in his top 10 most popular songs, or even close to it (23m on Spotify against 104m for his #10)

The Deal, Pat Campbell 69. No.31. Story song. Husband has choice of Dr. saving his wife or baby.

He makes a deal with God to take him instead so they both survive and he dies.

Never heard it before in my life.

What this has shown me is some songs which reached No's 31-40 are actually great songs.

BT 'Flaming June' currently on (been listening again for 20 mins) and what a beautiful sounding dance track!

'Workaholic' by 2 Unlimited now is another bangin first discovery :music:

and Billy Howard - King Of The Cops following them  never heard it but what a silly track this is.

Just started listening yesterday. This is fantastic! Such a great mix of songs! The first one I heard was Londonbeat's A Better Love, and now Nobody Does It Better is on...

Ha ha, and now the Clash followed by Shirley Bassey! :cheer:

Just switched this on today and first song is Fountains of Wayne with a Christmas song :o

Sounds pretty good as well on first listen of it.

I Want An Alien For Christmas :cheeseblock: criminally absent from all Spotify Christmas playlists

This is my sort of radio station. As well as the variety of music I like the fact it doesn't go beyond the 20th century.

I've read elsewhere that it includes every double a-side, remix and EP tracks which makes the figure of 15,275 too small. I keep a record of every Top 40 hit by the British Hit Singles definition (which excludes remixes) and if I add the double a-sides excluding any duplication of songs being released twice then the number I get is 15,373. That's before adding the EP tracks and remixes.

Samantha Fox - Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)

Donny & Marie Osmond - Make The World Go Away

Rolling Stones - Start Me Up

Didn't realise Catherine Zeta Jones had released anything - listening to her #36 "hit" from 1992 - For All Time

She had two Top 40 hits, the other was a duet with David Essex on True Love Ways
