After a 5-way tie in the last poll #AwardinaryDecided & Nabihah Iqbal's 'Sunflower' snuck the win with 3 votes. It is the 2nd single from her upcoming album DREAMER which is out later this month. The song is inspired by a William Blake poem and “about those who die young and leave their art behind”. The music video was filmed in sunny South Africa ❤️🌻

Gone from being the last to vote last week to the first this week! :lol: Anyway, here’s what I thought of the selection;

1. Sam Girling – Ankerklause (Is The Feeling Only Strong) [This is full of energy, another great pick for this week’s selection]

2. Brutalismus 3000 – JE N'EXISTE PAS [Wow a techno stomper! :music: What a great discovery from this week… but wait what’s that sample? :puke2:]

3. TIBASKO – Must Be Right [Quite liking this on first impression, but it’s been hard to find entries I didn’t like this week]

4. Leftfield feat. Earl 16 – Rapture 16 [Love a song from Leftfield, and this single version sounds solid]

5. Surusinghe – Skit [This is some serious beats, I applaud the work that’s gone into making this punchy as hell]

6. ATRIP – Fever [This seems like the sort of thing I would instantly like, and indeed I do! It reminds me a little of something else I can’t place though]

7. Digitalism – Haus It Going [Haus *.* Well this is sounding very balanced I must say. But rather mid-table for me]

8. Jessy Lanza – Don't Leave Me Now [Kinda passed me by this, I wouldn’t call it a standout unfortunately]

Also, any chance we could have a go at something similar to what Dan did looking back on the winners of the first quarter of the year? Would be fun to revisit some of these highlights!

Surusinghe gets my vote, a lot going on in that track!

Team Sam Girling this week!

After several listens, I voted for Jessy Lanza! LOVE her and the track is so infectious. Surusinghe 2nd place. I love the intriguing and unique sound she's bringing at the moment. ATRIP, Sam Girling and TIBASKO are all bops too.

Ooh good idea! Not sure how many would participate but worth a try

More votes please

My vote goes to Digitalism

Surusinghe for me

We have a tie :drama:

Very good: Surusinghe, ATRIP

Good: Sam Girling, Digitalism, Brutalismus 3000, Leftfield

Decent: TIBASKO, Jessy Lanza

ooh I actually broke the tie this time *.*

Interestingly my top 3 here are the 3 artists that I haven't (as far as I can remember) heard anything from before!

and I've just unbroke it again oops with my vote for Digitalism
