May 12, 20232 yr I can’t imagine it being a runaway success however they have been promoting it well in Liverpool in the ESC fanzone and in the ‘gay’ areas of London and Manchester - they know their target audience :lol: Whenever I hear about "gay dating shows" I remember Dan Savage's comments when Logo aired that hilariously awful "Prince Charming" show (aka "gay bachelor") and how dating shows are inevitably built upon sexual scarcity - ie a bunch of heterosexual males / females competing for the attention of one person of the opposite sex. Because really, why would a bunch of gay men in group compete for one person's affections instead of just moving onto the next cast member (which is partly what happened on Prince Charming, even if they didn't show it on camera).

May 15, 20232 yr So i have finally watched the first two episodes. Dannii is doing a great job she is very comfortable presenting here and is looking stunning. The show is very diverse , not like the promo pics suggest! With only 8 episodes not sure how this will commence. Dating shows usually go on for longer. Also not sure if they shiuld have thrown in the stereotypical fit gays , i wonder if this would have gained my interest / viewers.
