It's a flop song by Lady GaGa called G.U.Y. starts with the lyric, Greetings, Eros, god of sexual desire, ooh...
What’s that Eros song?

It is a Italian pop-rock song released in 1993, where it reached #1 in the Belgian charts and #3 in the Spanish charts. It was then re-released in 1997 as a duet version with Tina Turner, that version charted in many European charts, however it never charted in the UK or the US. It is most likely back in the charts due to Tina Turner's death, although it isn't an obvious song to re-enter.

^^ It’s also really high up on the Spotify Tina Turner playlist so got some streams by default - I had never heard the song until I put on the playlist.
I remember that duet being on TV a lot when I was little, I liked it a lot actually!

Kylie at #25 on Apple and that’s still with 3 Tina songs ahead of her, seems like it’ll be top 20 soon!
It's nothing short of incredible to see a Kylie single take off on streaming! I hope it can continue to grow, something like a 'Trustfall' sized hit would be lovely.

The solo and duet versions of that Eros Ramazzotti song seem to have their streams combined for some reason, presumably 99% of its streams are for the Tina version despite being listed as the solo version. A bit of an odd choice to be among her top songs but I guess it does just come down to playlisting. Good to see her getting a couple of top 10 entries anyway, hopefully 'The Best', 'What's Love Got To Do With It' and 'Proud Mary' can all be top 100 next week (maybe a small chance of the latter getting a new peak? although probably not assuming it stays on permanent ACR and falls off fairly quickly)

I’ll be the first to call it a flop so Brer can be happy x

Hen I called it a flop before it was released x

Seriously though, I don't think a soundtrack song for a Barbie movie has any bearing on her career (maybe it'll help if it does become a big hit but I don't think it matters if it isn't). I'm sure her next lead single should be a big hit if she wants it to be regardless, just as 'Don't Start Now' was after 'Swan Song' was only a middling hit.

That is by far a stretch lol, no international success, no big album success and mostly collab success

Not to say that she was on the level of Ed Sheeran but she has 2 #1 albums with the first of those spending 42 weeks in the top 10, you have ridiculous standards if that doesn't count as 'big album success'. And 8/13 of her top 10 singles were completely solo so 'mostly collab success' is just factually wrong. Her international success certainly was nowhere near her UK success granted but would hardly call this 'no international success'.

Apple:

2 Lil Durk

11 J Hus - Crazy

21 Kylie

46 Taylor - Hits different

49 Taylor - Karma ft Ice Spice

64 Dua - Barbie Song

65 Taylor - Snow More Lana

I don't get the rationale why film songs cannot do well? The biggest hits in history are all from movies (Love is all around, Everything I do, I will always love you...)... they just need (1) to be good and (2) nowadays to get playlist support. Dua doesn't fulfill any of the conditions tyhough...

I assume "I Ain't Worried" doesn't count for some vague reason?

(also need a moratorium on calling anything a flop honestly, but at least not before the first week is even over)
