Only pictures are available for the first rehearsals this time round though (unless you have TikTok), fan media is barred from the press centre until 8th May due to the TikTok exclusivity clause. I refuse to use TikTok. It was the first half of semi final 1 yesterday and most of that was entries that won an NF, so few surprises so far. discuss rehearsals (and technically, spoilers for the big show), here.
May 1, 20232 yr Sweden by all accounts has the same visual story as in Melfest just with lighter equipment which should be good for the final show. From early indications today, Israel seems to have really brought it with their stage show as well.

May 5, 20232 yr F9AP5DSA9tc Poland doesn't look as good as I thought. The dance break looks like a mess with the special effects. Lithuania should be a locked qualifier with that staging.
May 5, 20232 yr Greece sounds and looks dire - Victor seems completely out of his depth. Cyprus on the other hand - I think that's got a shot at being their best result post-Fuego!
May 5, 20232 yr Shame about Greece, the song itself has crept up on me over the past couple of weeks. Poland is serving. Wouldn't mind if Sweden's staging gets upstaged by La Zarra. I know 99% of viewers won't be aware, but Loreen's new box is quite a downgrade from the Melfest performance, and it would be nice to see the contest more open than I had been thinking.
May 5, 20232 yr In fairness, it could just be a bad clip in the same way that Sweden's rehearsal clip feels like a weaker run through but I'm really struggling to see that getting the televotes it needs apart from the Greek diaspora (which frustratingly might already be enough).
