May 9, 20232 yr Hold on, so Dog Days Are Over could get a new peak in 2023? Am I right in thinking it peaked at 23 originally? Which is wild that it wasn't higher?! Also sorry i am sure this has been asked already, but why is Set Fire To The Rain back on the rise? Imagine it finally goes top 10    It is very welcome to be back haha.
May 9, 20232 yr I feel like 'Dog Days Are Over' is one of those songs that has grown in fame/popularity since its release, which shows with its total sales. Plus this was at the beginning of her career and she's never exactly been a high-peaking singles act for the most part.

She's an angel and icon.  I think fun fact, her only two number ones were due to Calvin Harris treatment weren't they...Spectrum & Sweet Nothing. Edited May 9, 20232 yr by Karma
May 9, 20232 yr Dog Days only peaked at 23 but it was one of the biggest selling songs to miss the top 20 ever even before streaming, it was a big hit just a big sleeper hit
May 9, 20232 yr the chart run is pretty insane: {23}-24-33-36-44-53-44-48-55-56-47-37-34-24-25-27-24-27-42-55-56-56-64-75-67-61-74-75-74-67R(9)-62R(19)->31 I thought it was huge from day 1, even months before the official re-release mainly cos of the Slumdog Millionaire movie, I think that's the first chart stint when it peaked at #23, hadn't been re-released yet, was charting just cos the song as popular cos of the movie When it had the second stint in the top 40, that's the official re-release
May 9, 20232 yr It absolutely was huge but I think it’s one of those songs that propelled sales of the album as basically Dog Days, You Got the Love and Rabbit Heart were all proving to be popular at that point. The album made #1 finally when Dogs was rereleased and I think it stayed top 10 pretty easily for all of that period where Dogs was charting so it will have sold a lot during that period
May 9, 20232 yr Ed is on 56k according to the OCC today Fastest selling of year so far but hey ho cue the incoming flop comments
May 9, 20232 yr 1. Ed Sheeran 2. Nines 3. Tunde 4. Tom Meighan 9. Therapy? 40. Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
May 9, 20232 yr How many did Ed sell in week one last time around? Was it about 110K? 139k total and 84k by Monday. My 76-90 prediction in the poll is looking OK then.
May 9, 20232 yr I reckon Ed could just about scrape 100k once streaming is factored in. That is still bad for Ed though even though his No.6 album only sold 125k in its first week
May 9, 20232 yr Fastest selling of year so far but hey ho cue the incoming flop comments For him it is a flop. Way down and with plenty of promo and variations to choose from.
May 9, 20232 yr Mae Muller #54 :cheer: Should continue to climb all week too If she’s on ACR, OCC should give her a manual reset for Eurovision. Santana is also close to a re-entry but shame he’s on permanent ACR Edited May 9, 20232 yr by Hadji
May 9, 20232 yr 56K on the Tue mids is a flop for the biggest star in the planet no mater how you long at it no matter what the stans will say trying to undermine any criticism made
