The calm before the Eurovision storm is a literal calm one, mostly because I haven't listened to as much music because of my personal problems, but next week will be a different story, mainly because of Eurovision, but also because I will feel better hopefully!

As for this week, there is another new #1 with Ale Galata, an up and coming singer from Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany gets his first hit song with "Mirror", meanwhile down below BLANCO & Mina rise up to #4 with "Un Briciolo Di Allegria", Niall Horan hits the top 5 with "Meltdown", peaking higher than "Heaven", which peaked at #6 and Tommaso Paradiso reaches #7 with "Viaggio Intorno Al Sole".

The highest debut this week comes from Alvaro Soler with "Muero" reaching #45, watch this go higher in the Summer, could be another summer hit from Alvaro.

Other new entries come from Tiziano Ferro, Labrinth & Billie Eilish, The Kolors, ClockClock, Paola & Chiara, Harry Styles and Tom Grennan.

As for next week, watch out for Eurovision songs debuting, returning and climbing the charts.

Special lookout for Loreen's "Tattoo" (from Sweden, potential winner?), Käärijä's "Cha Cha Cha" (from Finland, fan favourite?) and Alessandra's "Queen Of Kings" (from Norway).

Other songs potentially entering the chart (non-Eurovision): Becky Hill & Lewis Thompson with "Side Effects" and Ed Sheeran with "Curtains" and possibly more.
