We Could Be The One is really suited to Dannii and it is a great release from her.

Interesting, Dannii retweeted someone saying remixes were out on 7th July. There is still the Bright Light Bright Light remix which might come out that date but the tweets did say both remixes.

Bright Light x2 and Until Dawn remixes are out tonight!

Glad we’ve got the remixes but odd they have spread the release out of them - I feel like at this point not many people will be searching for a new remix

I agree, not sure I see the benefit. If they didn't want to release everything at once then maybe do a remix per week, five weeks later makes it feel like an afterthought.

The two new mixes are decent but nothing is comparing anywhre near to the original for me.

Loving the bright light remix the most!! Are the vocals clearer on this mix?

When she sings im here to live imagination , reminds of the line in ISBSL!

While i still prefer the original mix i do like the remixes, awful shame this wasnt a hit as its such a great summer song.

The remixes have helped 'We Could Be the One' debut at #15 on the Commercial Pop Club Charts according to Music Week.
I know it is a tv theme song and not an official single, but how I wish this song did more. It deserves so much love!

I think Dannii’s days of hit singles are far behind her even if she went all out with physicals, remixes and promo im not convinced a song like WCBTO would breakthrough.

Yeah, exactly. She sold like 1500 downloads in the first week and that's considered "good" today - but at the same time you need 5-6k to even bother the lower end of the chart. 1k of physical singles would only get her halfway; a few remix sales might add another 0.5-1k at best, so still far off. And besides, it wouldn't be a real "hit" anyway.

If she wants to do music again beyond the odd toss-it-out-single her best bet would be to go for an album with multiple formats that would get a comparatively high peak (but exit in week 2).

This song actually had a buzz! I think it surprised everyone.
I agree and i dont think many expected Dannii to get an itunes number 1 which was great for her, it also managed to stay top 10 for a few days, and while i know that doesnt take a huge amount of sales i think for an artist like Dannii its a good result.

That must be such a solid destroyer - work a year on a new album, release it on 10 formats, along on release week with album signings and shows plus promo to see it go 10-193.

It works for indie bands that tour constantly but the pop girls (Louise etc.,) must be getting zero return on their albums.

I do think the same and how they make any money, acts like Louise wouldn't have huge tours to combat it either but it must work in some way for them to continue releasing.
