I actually managed to finally get a ticket to this today, to the 28th September Wembley gig. Some newly released production tickets went on sale this morning and I got an email code amazingly. It's re

I do see the appeal of their music, think they have some cracking songs. I just don't like them as people, they are the kind of band I'd listen to on Spotify but I won't spend money on them.

Different strokes for different folks when it comes to personal taste but its easy to see why this has been a massive deal. When they played Knebworth at the height of their popularity it generated the biggest demand for tickets in British history and not only was the music a phenomenon but the Gallagher brothers become a cultural phenomenon in the UK. A record consisting entirely of them having a blazing row actually charted! A reunion was always going to generate a huge amount of talk and attention.

This. Spice Girls dwarf them in talent, minus Ego Spice

at the end of the day it's gonna be like the Eras tour, many people go and they're not even fans, it's more like a social event, a social thing that is cool to do. Sure many hardcore fans go but also many random people with little interest. Half of the people at my work when to see Taylor and they don't know a single song.

Exactly, it’s a huge cultural event. Although I’d argue most people in the country know at least one Oasis song.

Oasis were never the best band musically, certainly when you think about The Who, Rolling Stones etc. but their cultural impact is massive. They represented the mad culture of the 90s, probably highly responsible for try ensuing lad culture that developed too. Of course there’s days Noel is a full blown Tory and Liam is a massive twat, but Liam’s always been like that and I think that’s what’s always been fun about the band.

Liam is a genuine Rock Star in the cliched use of the word. Yeah, he's also a bit of a twat but often funny with it too and not as stupid as he likes to make out.

Sort of person I'd like to go down the pub with for about 4 pints but after that it's probably best to bail out before it gets out of hand.

Tickets secured for one of the Murrayfield dates :cheeseblock:

Well done :cheer: I didn’t get a pre-sale code sadly so will be up early tomorrow hoping for the best from general sale 🙏

Same no pre sale code here, amongst the 12 people I know going for tickets!

Hoping they announce a couple of extra dates tomorrow.. not sure they will but clearly the demand is there. Already wound me up with people who have no interest whatsoever getting tickets for it.

If they had to pick one of the three Oasis re-entries for Now 119, I’d rather they picked Don’t Look Back In Anger as Live Forever and Wonderwall have both already made multiple appearances on Now 33, Now 34, Now 99 and Now 100

No chance of getting a ticket.

Now down to 409,708 after 43 minutes.
I've still not even been given a number oops, RIP :deadbanana:

Yep same, both me and my brother are trying and him being 140,000th in the queue is still better than I've managed
