I hope this will be her eventual return to the Radio 1 playlist! They must really hate her if they ignore this, it sounds like such a hit and the streaming support is amazing

Top ten might be a bit stretch, even his Future collaboration didn't chart that high. Top 20/30 might be doable on exposure alone and we'll see what happens from there.

I think/hope this might have the potential to stick more than 'Double Fantasy' did (unless Madonna really is considered that repellent these days)

Because she doesn't need to. She is just a feature on someone else's song. The Weeknd is HUGE on streaming. He doesn't need her endorsement.

 

Vulgar is a different case. It's a joint single.

She doesn’t need to promote it - it’s a feature and The Weeknd’s releases so fine without tweets in support of them.

An Instragram post takes nothing though and considering how well it’s doing on playlists you’d think she’d want to be associated with it! I can’t see Vulgar getting anywhere near as much success

I assume she cares more about Vulgar since it's both of them as lead artists; she didn't even write her verse on Popular, so she probably doesn't care about it as much.
