The weekend is one of the biggest streaming artists right now. Is it flopping because he has Madonna on it? I dont understand how the QUEEN of pop and THE WEEKEND cant muster a top 20 hit?

The Weeknd isn't always guaranteed a blockbuster smash, like his recent one debuted top 20 and was pretty much out of the chart entirely in 2/3 weeks. Also he did one with Calvin Harris which bombed hard in the wake of 'Blinding Lights', and on paper that sounded like it couldn't go wrong.

I’m going to have to bite.. Madonna is leagues ahead of Kylie as an artist - K isn’t an artist, just a harmless, fun-ish pop puppet, who has nothing to say ever, so no, that duet will never happen :-).

 

I do think both K and M have the same surgeon though, both look a little embalmed of late.

Also added to 1Xtra today so that's 3 BBC stations it's on rotation now
