Wow 2 weeks in a row with a Thursday evening release debuting top 10 on Spotify - great to see such healthy figures at the top of the chart all of a sudden after dipping so low the other week.

I was thinking it must be a first if we have a top 2 both doing over 1 million from 2 different artists (minus Christmas ofc), not that it's guaranteed to happen but definitely looks possible with Dave's numbers holding so well all week. Could be a record strong such top 2 either way, the strongest I can think of before is 'One Kiss'/'Nice For What' which had days of both doing over 700k (so Drake involved both times) although I'm sure there's a good chance I'm forgetting something.

It is indeed, although not from the main Metro Boomin album for it.

It is on the deluxe version of the album! (Actually none of the added tracks on the deluxe version are by Metro Boomin, he did 10/13 songs on the standard version but only barely half of the deluxe )

Hi my huns

Any updates on how Sam smith featuring Madonna Vile please? It is growing on me. I can see it doing well on i tunes (number 4).

Thanks huns

Just Carol Honey ❤️

J Hus is the only new release in the top 200 on Apple so far.

He is showing as #1 on Apple Music on Kworb now, but it looks like the two versions of 'Sprinter' are in the process of finally being combined and that's glitching the song out (it's showing at #5 and #101 right now) so most likely should 'only' be #2.

Might just be a Kworb glitch, Sprinter is still #1 on AM and the other version is #6. JHus is #2 now though

Edit: disregard all that my Apple chart just hadn’t updated

Sometimes they make space for new songs on a Friday, so might move up a bit after the weekend. Shes 9 and 1 on Apples two big playlists and 15 overall so not as high there as is possible.

She's gone #36-#38-#40-#43 on HH UK. Hoping with her charting at #12 this week it will actually get a position change to reflect that (I believe HHUK updates again on a Monday).

'Sprinter' is showing at #1 on Apple again but the second version is still there at #6 so maybe not in the process of being combined after all, guess it was just a momentary glitch. Not sure why it's taking this long for the second version to disappear...

Nathan Dawe/Joel Corry/Ella Henderson in at #61 now and Sam Smith/Madonna at #180.

If you go on the official charts website and click Kylie Padam Padam buy it only gives the option of Amazon and not i-tunes any ideas why this would be?

The OCC probably have a deal with Amazon and get paid to promote their MP3s and/or receive commission for each purchase.

They must earn literal pennies from that if so :kink:

Apple newies:

1 J Hus/Drake

41 Nathan Dawe/Joel Corry/Ella Henderson

95 Sam Smith/Madonna

135 Fredo

('Sprinter' is still showing as #2 and #6 so no idea if that is a genuine #1 or not)

Album release has boosted Niall Horan's 'Heaven' up 112 places to #62 but no sign of any other tracks from him. There's also some fairly big boosts for a few Sam Fender songs, 'Seventeen Going Under' up 24 places to #46 and 'Will We Talk?' and 'Hypersonic Missiles' entering at #128 and #148 respectively, appears he's doing a big concert today so another touring boost I guess!

Wow! Shame Thursday streams don’t count but if the pattern continues she should rise again today

Edit: just realised it’s Saturday  Those definitely do count then!

That’s Fridays streams!

Also we do indeed have 2 songs over 1 million streams today (in fact both over 1.1M)
