June 19, 20232 yr Working with Jake Shears and Xenomania ideally would have been the material for Body Language and a much more fitting follow up to Fever, it would have been a a nice mash up of fever/light years style material that i think would have done far better than BL, I think parlohone knew fairly quickly that the body language material wasnt getting the reception they wanted or hoped for and possibly lined up Jake Shears and Xenomania quiet quickly for ultimate Kylie. I mean, perhaps but in a way I appreciate that she took a risk and didn't just do something easy and predictable. Plus it all makes up part of her story/journey.

I do like that she takes risks and tries new sounds. Unlike Pink and Adele that stick with the same sound for example.
June 20, 20232 yr Chocolate is one of my all time favourite Kylie songs, it was my instant favourite off BL and I was so pleased when it was announced as a single but ultimately the GP didn’t take to it for whatever reason. It’s a completely forgotten Kylie single and 95% of the GP don’t remover it or have never heard it. It doesn’t stop me loving it though.

June 20, 20232 yr ^ I’ve noticed that! I remember having a real moment with ‘Chocolate’ a couple of years ago and it’s one I often return to now. So sensual and hypnotic and the video is one of her finest. Happy it’s having its moment in the spotlight on Twitter!
