Can Kylie and Padam Padam reach the top 100 year end?

 

She will have sold over 100,000 by the end of this week. Still got remixes and Album launch etc to go and no doubt plenty of promo and radio plays,

 

I am hoping so, but what do you think?

I think it’s gonna grab around 500k by the end of the year. Hard to tell though, as it is still gaining on streaming and could be more.

 

I voted 71-80, but seeing that 500k would fall under 51-60 section, my current prediction is 51-60.

I first looked at this and thought about 81-90 but it could do better now it has Radio 1 support and so went for 61-70 being optimistic. Can't see it making the top 60 but you never know.

I think it could make top 75 on year end as I've hopes of this giving kylie a platinum single.

I think we can just do maths... let's say it does 20k/week for the rest of the year and it'd be at 550k give or take.

It's hard to say without knowing if it's peaking now, or if it's got a few more weeks before it peaks. If it's peaking now, I think it'll sell similarly to 'Hold Me Closer', but I'm positive it'll do better than that.

I'm not sure if it being released/taking off later in the year will prove to be a disadvantage, but I have confidence it can make an appearance nonetheless.

61-70

 

I think it'll stick around all summer with different things happening and then when the album drops it'll climb to it's peak.

I've gone for 51-60... and that's where I thought it would peak in the weekly charts originally... so it'd be something else if it ended up there is the EOY chart instead :D

It shouldn't be top far off 200k this time next week.

'Padam Padam' should hopefully be entering the YTD top 100 this week now. It's taken so long. I think any of the 50-70ish predictions are now a bit optimistic but then again not sure if the whole sales have been added to the total yet (including what they'd be on SCR each week since I mean).

 

Did vote 61-70 at the time and even though I can't change it, will revise to 84-93 I think when it comes to end of year. It'll no doubt keep trickle sales going for a little bit even if it falls out of the top 100 this or next week now!

Seeing kylie make the top 100 no matter what position would keep me happy as I really thought for a long time it woukdnt be possible for her to do it.

It feels ridiculous that a song with the impact Padam Padam had likely won’t be represented in the EOY Top 100 -_-

Its still going to get a lot of promo in the next few weeks. Still streaming ok. Vinyl sales to add and more downloads definitley.
