He went with an uncharacteristically upbeat Cocteau Twins song, "Iceblink Luck" which interestingly the title never appears in the lyric. Hi Addy! Thanks for hosting this edition, it turned out to be yet another high quality set of songs imo. Here is my order and votes, in the end I loved the top ones too much to penalise them for familiarity but certainly Bõa, Ocean and Saâda Bonaire were good discoveries - and Monsoon was a great rediscovery as I'd forgotten that existed. Ozean was a Northern California band inspired by the sonic propulsion and ethereal songwriting and they are presented by Chez Wombat. The song was recorded in 1991, but actually never released and the band never signed so the song remained lost on a demo cassette tape until it was 2016 when it resurfaced and re-released, and still to this today finds a small cult following in corners of YouTube and shoegaze subreddits and whatnot.
