Wonder how many vinyls for each. I guess 8th December means they can make more if needed? Will they count for charts as many of you said Tension and PP have gone over their 3 physical limit

Hi my hun

I think the hotn vinyl is released in December?

Just Carol Honey ❤️

Ah didn't notice that. Suppose the vinyl will coincide with An Audience With, but I think they should have just released all formats at once and get as high a position as possible.

I feel like top 20 might be a bit ambitious, much as I'd love that to happen!

Yeah I'm not as convinced now I know the vinyl isn't released the same week, but I'll happily take a third Top 40 hit.

Well.......

2k cassettes

3k CDs

Maybe a digital download edit.

Video Official streams

Video Lyric streams

Streaming numbers (already on a few playlsits)

Won't be a new music friday I don't think

That should be enough for top 20 I think

However maybe Video and digital edit coming on 3rd November then week before to coincide with Vegas?

Well that’s one way to confirm the next single is HOTN :cheer:

Bought 2 x CD/Cassette bundles and 2 x Vinyl Bundles so HOTN has 6 physical sales from me for release week :cheer:

Well.......

2k cassettes

3k CDs

I think the HOTN CD/Cassette bundle could pull in 4-5k, and 3k for the vinyl for the UK sales so potentially 8k before we have a single stream or download.

Although to be honest Kylie getting a post album hit I’d be over the moon with a 38-93 chart run!

Annoyingly I'm on holiday for half the week the CDs are out, so I won't be able to do much to contribute

(I'll see what I can download when I get back)

Lovely news! Hold On To Now is my favourite artwork of the Tension era

It has 2 weeks to build up preorders for the CD & Cassette, and 6 weeks for the vinyl… providing that they stay up for preorder for that entire time. If it shows “Sold Out” during the preorder then that’ll be a bit of a shame.

Anyway, this approach of having a reasonably long preorder is quite different to Padam Padam & Tension (song), because their CDs/cassettes were rushed out.

No idea what to expect for Hold On to Now in the charts but I’d be very happy if it managed Top 40! Top 20 seems like a stretch to me, bearing in mind that Tension got to #19 while it also benefited from the downloads and streaming as a brand new single. I assume HOTN is going to be relatively far more reliant on the physical sales. Unless of course they time a HOTN remix digital EP alongside the physicals on 10th November!

I’m guessing that anyone that ordered the CD/Cassette bundle along with the vinyl won’t have orders shipped until the vinyl is released so the impact week will be in the midst of the Christmas songs mayhem :drama:

So very happy about HOTN. Whilst it may not be a crossover hit like PP, it's also the most "Kylie" song on the album and now that she's getting love from the media and public, might as well dish out what she does best. Hopefully we have a video soon and some kind of promo (albeit remotely from Vegas). I'm hoping for a top 20. You never know if they play the cards right.

Me too I’m in Gran Canaria but they will be there when I get home

Excellent choice. I’ve ordered the CD single. It would be a great if it achieves a T40 status but unclear how well this will do. I guess it will depend on promotion and whether it’s picked up quickly by radio. A good campaign is very much needed to boost the album.

don't forget Vinyl released from 8th December

I like they have thrown it out to avoid all the clog up of Xmas songs that get heavy streaming and potentially knock her down a fair few spots.

Didn't we already see there was a HOTN edit ? I am sure it got posted when we were looking at if it would be single 2?

Oh do you think? How much cheaper is the packaging to order all together rather than 2 shipmnets on 10th Nov and 8th Dec ?

Assuming a video for it already exists (I'm almost certain it was filmed as the second single was switched to 'Tension' very late in the day), it'd be good for them to put that out the same week also.
Just ordered the 3x vinyl single bundle! :cheer: Was tempted to throw in a TENSION record as I still haven't got one, but might wait for that as it was coming to £65 or so!

The chart week starting 10th Nov is a busy week for her. LV 2 days in Voltaire, there is the ARIAs (probably via satellite) and then F1 Gig at The Sphere in LV on 16th.

Then am sure she will be back to UK for Audience for Preparation.

No idea but Townsend ship everything together when the last item is available which will be the vinyl…
