Hopefully we’ll get some social media posts from Team Kylie today to at least highlight it’s the new single.

The weirdest thing is the absence of radio plays and releasing the extended version last week.

 

Be surprised if there’s an accompanying video..the visualiser is the video, similar to how they used the Infinite Disco version for Real Groove.

They might do something over the course of the week, it's not a great start but it's early stages yet.

They need things streaming from beginning of chart week.......

 

Visual Kylie is what sells.......

If most of the cassettes and CDs get sent with the vinyl on 8th December then maybe that is the impact week for Hold on to Now as well as the album etc and tie in with An Audience With, but likely to get lost in all the Xmas singles.

It’s early days but very much a :nocheer: start to apparently Kylie’s favourite track from the album, still no movement on my order so am expecting to get everything together when the vinyl is released - if that’s the case for everyone then Top 75 this week?

It though she has sold 5k combined in physicals but 4k don't ship until 8th Dec then no chart place and a waste.

I’m doing my bit for streaming in the hopes BMG decide to split orders for people that have ordered the vinyl (they done it when album bundles included PP physicals).

Like I said the postage cost was £8.50 both ways ordering together and also ordering together with 2 shipments.....

Mess tbh - anyone that ordered the CD and/or cassette for HOTN will have received it now, anyone that bundled it with the vinyl will receive it on December 10th, I’d imagine quite a few fans ordered everything to together.

 

So it’s turning out to be a random release -

 

Added to NMF album week

Extended Version released November 2nd

CD/Cassette released November 10th

Vinyl released December 8th

 

With physical sales being split over 2 weeks and the full impact of the CDs and Cassettes not being added this week and as of yet no video etc., I think we can say that HOTN won’t be troubling the Top 40 :nocheer:

Unless everytihng comes on the 8th Dec. 80% cassettes/CD and then maybe 2-3k vinyls? + video maybe and a remix package?

 

Very messy though and amateurish from BMG.
