July 7, 20232 yr The OCC website's charts now have an icon for re-entries again so no longer easy to confuse with non-movers, hooray! Grian Chatten's album falling a bit more from the Wednesday mids than I expected oop but glad he did hang onto the top 10, maintaining his 100% streak of top 10 peaks including the albums with the rest of Fontaines D.C. #7 is alright for Lil Uzi Vert, from what I've heard it doesn't have many songs that scream big longevity on streaming so expecting it'll drop very quickly, kind of impressive that it's managed to chart higher than the Gunna and Young Thug albums which were a lot safer. (Though having said that, oof that Young Thug has fallen straight out of the top 100 - obviously 15-out chart runs are very commonplace these days but much less so for streaming heavy albums, that album seems to have just fallen very flat beyond the first day hype). Great to see bdrmm's album holding on as high as #51, never would have expected it to be top 100 at all!
July 7, 20232 yr As well as the re-entry fix, they’ve also rectified the weeks charted to only top 100 weeks. Although on the audio streaming chart it still shows top 200 weeks
July 7, 20232 yr Is this the first time '÷' has been ahead of '=' as well? :thinking:Yes I believe so. The album chart of 20/04/2023 still appears to be missing, meaning that most long-running albums are displaying 1 week too few in their totals. For example Rumours is showing 999 weeks, while this is actually its 1000th - the first studio album to reach that milestone. It may appear to be effectively behaving as a greatest hits, since it houses many of their best-known songs whose streams accumulated in their own right are helping to keep the album afloat. To its credit however, it has spent 405 weeks in the Sales chart combined with 591 in the album chart prior to that while it was sales only, therefore it would surely reach the 1000-week landmark in sales-only in 4 weeks' time anyway.

I noticed this the other day! I was trying to work out a chart run and was confused as to why the dates weren’t adding up!

July 9, 20232 yr With such glaring mistakes, I wonder how valid the main chart is. Does nobody proofread the chart before it gets published? It shouldn't be so hard. :drama: I suspect it's not necessarily a matter of proofreading it, but maybe some sort of bug in the system that made the name come out like that when it was published/submitted. Maybe an aversion to hyphens or something?
July 9, 20232 yr I'm tempted to suggest if she'd sung that title, it would sound better than 'Fingers Crossed' (but I won't)
July 10, 20232 yr I suspect it's not necessarily a matter of proofreading it, but maybe some sort of bug in the system that made the name come out like that when it was published/submitted. Maybe an aversion to hyphens or something? If it's indeed a bug, they should have found out & fixed it before publishing the chart.
