It's a little like when SZA announced her album at short notice but Sam had bigger sales advantage than Anne-Marie which kept him ahead. August 3, 20232 yr Definitely think it's possible that there's a delay in reporting some of Anne-Marie's sales as she's actually on nearly 1k lower than Therapy was at this point in the week (14.5k) despite all the push and signings/shows etc.

August 3, 20232 yr The date I've seen rumoured for Drake's album is the 11th. Next week does look pretty dead for new releases. I guess Cian Ducrot could get #1, don't see him being a huge seller but it'll be a low bar, I imagine he could do 10k at least.

Yes I’ve seen multiple TikToks from his concerts where he said it was 2 weeks to go which would make it the 11th. I did wonder if Cian would get #1 by default but I suppose he’s popular enough.
